    In case we all almost missed it, So CAL has event worth mentioning this weekend. Who is going? Its only a 3 hour drive from SR at a mellow pace ;)

    how can you best concorso italiano? There are more Ferraris than Chevys there during the one weekend...

    No idea how to beat the past, can only look to the future :) Any idea how many they need down there? The idea kicked around, if enough people are interested, is to leave Sunday morning and get there just in time. I am going to PM the person setting it up to find more details and I will post here. Sorry in advance for the short notice but this is what happens when you surf the site after midnight. HAHA.

    Sweet. The event website is motor4toys.com. Entrance is free except for a prewrapped gift valued at 10 bucks for the kids in the charity. Also, the record is for the longest ferrari parade. They need 400 cars, last night just over 140 cars registered today its 150. So who knows if its a long shot. The way I see it; your f-car would have been part of achieving a world record. Absent celebrity ownership, racing heritage, or the likes, how can you deny that cache (ohh, well my car was the first to land on the moon?!? ;)

    Thanks so much for bringing this event to the attention of all the NoCal guys/gals. The record is 385 Ferrari's in a parade. We currently have about 150 cars, however, most people down here are not on fchat. A local dealership, Auto Gallery, sent out 585 invites last week to their Ferrari customers. Also, the FCA ran an ad in last weeks issue of their magazine. I don't know if we'll make it but we sure are going to have a lot of great cars. Thanks again for your support and hope to meet some of you on Sunday. :)

    BTW, this entire event, and this is the 4th year, is to benefit the kids. Last year 11,000 toys were donated because of this event. This is the 4th annual and the goal is 15,000 toys.     WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOUR HELP...as Jon stated, most Ferrari owners are not on Fchat....the FOC and the FCA put adds in, Mike Grenwald from Mikey's run called in the troops and according to the clubs we have a minimum of 125 cars coming, that have yet to register....:) I think we will be pretty damn close!
    If you are coming down saturday, all the fchat guys who have to travel are staying at the Country Inn and Suites...contact 222-5339, Heather Jederlinich, director of sales, reserved parking and security for the cars.

    We need your help guys, please come down and assist, we cannot do it without you!
