I'm traveling to vegas soon, and did a search for rental of a 599. I'm thinking of getting one, and would like to try it out for longer than a normal test drive. There are numerous places that rent 458's, etc, but the only one I found that had a 599 was this place:

Exotic Car Rental | Exotic Car Rental Las Vegas | Exotic Car

Does anyone know anything about them? I couldn't find any reference of them other than the specific google search for a 599. Google earth shows a non descript warehouse.

    Thanks!

They've been around quite a while. I know a person or two who have rented from them without problems.

IMO, I would negotiate for more mileage. 150 sounds like a lot but it's not. At $1300 a day, they can give you more.

Its not like you're dealing with Hertz. They don't rent these every day.

Thanks for the confirmation. I've never rented something like this before, and couldn't find anything about them.

My time will be kind of short, so I was going to opt for the 4 hour rental. That's 50 miles. The other companies that do 4 hr rentals offer 75 miles. He's got the only 599 I could find though......

David, I rented a Ferrari California from Dream Cars Las Vegas last month and it was an awesome experience! My first time renting an exotic car, and definitely a check off the bucket list :).

The warehouse looks discreet from the outside, but inside is a sick collection of exotic and luxury cars. They looked almost brand new (Ferrari I drove had only 4,000 miles on it, and some of the other cars had less than 1,000). The manager was very cool and let me check out and take pictures of the other cars too. I will be back to rent the McLaren!

Talked to him the other day, and the 599 is already rented. He said it rents about 22 days a month. So, bummer. I did find a 599 at the dream cars experience at the motor speedway though. Not quite the environment I wanted to test, but will still be fun.

How much do they quote for the 4 hours/50 miles? I would like to rent a 456...maybe a 488 as well when they get one. Thank you.

I drove the 599, along with a few other cars, at Dream Racing at the motor speedway. here's a link to my review of the experience and cars. it goes quick. pay for a few extra laps and if needed.

Prices are all over the map; depends on what you want to rent and from whom....

Nice write up. I'll be interested to see what it's like. Never heard of the rough shifts before, but maybe compared to a dual clutch. In a scud, the 60ms shifts are very rough, but the second and third slower shift maps are smooth. I figured the 100 ms shifts in the 599 would be the same as the 100ms shifts in the scud.
