I was at the Wynn dealership yesterday, the kind gentleman said the Enzo key would fit a 348/355/512.
    Is this true?
Has anyone used the Enzo key as a replacement?

    Any help is appreciated

I bought the Enzo key and had it cut to fit my 2005 575M. Works perfectly.

I'm pretty sure the blade is too thick to fit the 348 cylinder, because the Enzo key is supposedly the same as a 360 key (which I know doesn't fit)

If the Enzo really does use the 348's rack-n-pinion steering, then Ferrari may very well have used the 348's ignition lock (hey, where's that Start button?!).

The column numbers for the Enzo and the 348 are not even close.

I don't think there's any connection here to models.

They had 2 other keys that were silver, one looked like the Enzo key, the other a bit smaller.
    Would those fit?

I think No Doubt meant that the actual 348 steering rack(not the steering column) is the same as the on used in the Enzo. And the 348 ignition barrel. Even though the column part numbers are not the same, they could have still used/fit the 348 ignition barrel and even the 348 steering rack into the Enzo. But i would not have a clue, so ill shut up now about the 348/Enzo connection :)

I am not trying to find the 348/Enzo Connection, just wondering if the darn key would work. ;)

Oh.........thats simple mate ;) Pay around $10K and retro-fit an Enzo ignition barrel to your bad boy 348 and then Bob's your Uncle. :D

Wont need to spend 10k for that. I am still on the 360 hunt ;)
don't know if I can have both. i will try my best though.
It will be hard to let this 348 go.
    We'll see what happens

No. Last year, I sent a silver one (back when they were $90) to sparta49 (Frank Foster) for free as an engineering test. He had it cut for his 348 and failed miserably. It wouldn't fit the cylinder at all.

I think he sent it back to me and I gave it to some kid as a souvenir.

It was indeed too thick to fit in the cylinder after being cut. The best bet would be sending both a 348 key and a 360 key to someone like Verrel @unobtanium supply and letting him make a mold of the 360 key and implant your 348 key inside. That is the best that I can figure out to make it work, but I haven't talked to Verrel about doing one. I may give it a try when my new to me Testarossa arrives.

If your 348 used the folding type key, (95401152) it is the same as the TR & Mondial's.
The 355/550 key (170010) is different (length?).
The F50 key (168786) will fit the 308/328/412 models.

    HTH,
    Brian

The Enzo key will fit a 360 just fine.
