Is here a Ferrari owner from Belgium, of the Netherlands(south) who would give me a ride in his Ferrari (or Lambo). Its also for pics on my site. (www.passione-rossa.v3.be)(dutch) ofcourse I want to pay for it. Let me know something!!! Regards, Vincent Thanks (alvast bedankt)
Hi Vincent, Welcome on Fchat! Great website. It doesn't really work this way. It is better if you try to blend in. Join the conversation, go to meetings. Give people the chance to get to know you better. In that case there will be plenty of Ferrari owners who will be happy to give you a ride for free. You don't have to offer money for it. Many owners just like to share their pride and the passion. As soon as I have my new Ferrari I will be happy to take you for a drive. But beware..... I also promised this to Alex and in the end I took his girlfriend for a drive. Ton
@ Ton LOL Yeah! I'll remember that!!! That meeting in Overpelt really was a nice one... @ Vincent Nice to see you followed the advice I posted in your General Discussion thread and to see you again here in the European section As I said before, welcome and CU on one of the future meetings maybe? Like Ton already mentioned before, it's better to get to know some people first... you won't regret it! Greets, Alexander
Yes, I know. I try to do. But maybe there's someone who reacts and so I get to know him and he get to know me, so that would be easy. It's just that I really want as much Ferrari drives as I can get. So, I try every possibility. Maybe my english isn't really good, I'm just 15 and I learn english at school, but that's only 3 hours in a week. I understand everything, but can't speak it very well.
for as I can see your English is fine ...come and join us sometimes in the BONKERS thread. There are loads of people from all around Europe. And I don't think any of them writes English perfectly but that doesn't count. As long as you can make yourself understood and have fun! ... Ow and if you are able to go the the Modena Days...I recommand that ...you can see some pics of last years event at my site: www.forzarossa.com
Vincent, The good things in life never come easy! Just wait your day will come. As soon as my car arrives you can join me in the right seat.
You're English is just fine. See if you can get one of these guys to have you as a passenger for the Scotland rallye next August..now that would be a ride!
PLEASE Waldo..........speak for yourself.......................................................................................................................................
Hi Vincent, If you can ever get to the Pacific NW area of the US near Seattle, I will be happy to give you a ride. I'll bet a lot of folks in our club & at lots of other places would enjoy having another generation interested in the cars that give us so much joy. As someone mentioned, attending Ferrari events will get you acquainted with folks there who will enjoy sharing the fun. Byron
Thanks, but I think that isn't possible for me. I live in Belgium (Europe, next to France and Germany) and thats almost the other side of the world for you.
