Ferrari ROMA

Did your Roma arrive yet? Curious of the actual pic of the chrome wheel finish versus standard finish as I just put in my order. I too couldn't tell the difference on the configurator as the dealership's demo was standard finish and was told the chrome finish is not as bright.

 

I have had it now for 6 months plus…love it!. Traveling now but will see if I can find a pic. If not, I can send in a couple of weeks. I do love the way they came out. Not too bright but a great pop against the blue.

Got it, this answers my question. Given I don't use apple nor have found carplay useful, would just not get this option. I guess my natural question is, is there a product and/or location to put your phone in the roma?

 

thanks for sharing your experince. How was the steering feel of Roma comapred to 911 you have? My concern is that I prefer a heavy steering feel (like a German hydraulic), but I have heard that Ferrari steering feel is very light, not heavy. Is there a way to make the steering feel a heavier if you set the sport mode or something?

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing, I have a question. Does it have a reflection on the windshield when drive the car as the upper dash tirm color is cuoio? If it is not black, will there be a reflection of the light color upper dash trim?

It is light! Like all modern ferraris.

But very precise. I find it very appropriate to the car. Being smaller than my FF for example it is highly maneuverable.

I have chiaro piping and it is quite visible but only when the sun is overhead. Pretty muted otherwise.

Cuoio should be less visible than mine but I’d bet it won’t be invisible. Only you can decide how much of an issue it is.

I can ignore it.

My map in my Roma says “Develop” at the bottom and my Ferrari dealer doesn’t know how to fix this.

Have any other Roma owners had this? Do you know the fix?

Yep! Had it on my Roma when I first received it. Old software.

They eventually received the updated software ad it went away. The update was a 7 hour process they said.

Thanks very much for the pic. My order, which still can be modified, was for the silver painted wheels instead of the chrome finish. As I mentioned previously, the dealership advised that the chrome finish is not as bright as the silver but yours look attractive, almost polished. I would appreciate your further thoughts.

BTW, the chrome wheels are a smooth clear chrome. Painted are more matte like as you can see.

Thanks! It is Rosso Mugello with the chrome painted wheels. Went for a cuoio leather lower cockpit with red coloured details and stitching for the interior.

Beautiful in Argento! Are those stock rims silver or chrome painted?

 

The Roma looks elegant in the Mugello finish. Curious how long of a wait from the time your order was slotted to the delivery date. My dealership is saying nine to twelve months at this point. Also, does the chrome finished rims look more polished or have a brighter luster than the regular silver rims?

 

The difference is quite minor, especially in the sun if you ask me. I went with chrome painted and saw a car without. And honestly unless you are right up next to the wheel itself, it will be hard to distinguish, especially if the wheels are not perfectly clean.

It is just a shinier silver paint compared to the standard, which itself is painted silver also. Yes, it is marginally nicer, but not fully worth the option price in my opinion.
