Two separate changes. I have the non driving zone steering wheel which I do not like and I am swapping my exhaust tips. Two new parts orders for Ferrari
Happy New Yr everyone! When do you generally see updates to your car/order on the Ferrari App? Mine still says waiting list/VIN not present but recently my order specs were updated, car was ordered in July 21.
Once your car gets an allocation from the factory and goes into production, you will get a VIN assigned. My status didn’t remove the waiting list until after actual delivery. It’s a long, patient wait, I know…. Andy
Got it, thank you so I guess the app isn't the best source - the dealer is. I assumed the VIN showed up on the app first though? I have 3 cars that I am all waiting for, so makes the wait easier as the wait times/delivery dates are several months apart (for now)
Quick question guys, in the early model I test drove and one I got given as a loaner last year, the steering wheel had a "view max" button on it which was nice to show the complete satnav on the dashboard. This option seems to have disappeared and I can't for the life of me find it in the menus on my car, another demonstrator I was given while waiting for my car also didn't have this. Has anyone else discovered a way to activate this even though the wheel button is now gone on the car?
I was told the most recent update brings it back but I can't confirm because my car is at the dealer now getting the one year service and update. Should know in a week or so.
I will not be purchasing the Roma I ordered Oct, 2020. It is coming to the No. Calif. dealer in February. Titanio with Cuoio. My price was $270,000 US. PM me if you want details for dealer contact.
I need a little help from someone who has the us price list. I ordered my Roma w/o the carbon driving zone steering wheel. My other cars have it and I like the feel so much better. I finally have a quote from Italy and just about fell over. When you spec the car new, isn’t it sub 10k for the option? Thanks in advance.
Only if you don't mind sharing, why did you change your mind? Different car or something you found out you didn't like about the roma?
Eurospares here in the UK are quoting £4031.97 for a carbon version - part number 938788. Might be worth contacting them to confirm this price. You'd have to check which part number is the version you require as there is also a version for a car equiped with adaptive cruise control which is part number 938787. AFAIK these are simple plug and play swap overs so there shouldn'tbe a huge amount of labour charge involved. https://www.eurospares.co.uk/parts/ferrari/roma/all-pages/steering-wheel-and-steering-system-steering-wheel-and-airbag-313746
I’m not entirely sure about this, but I do remember reading on similar threads here that the dealer still needs to program the LEDs on the new steering wheel. On the Roma, this may mean none of the haptics communicate with the car until the new wheel is programmed correctly by Ferrari at the dealer. I’d look into this before buying from outside the family.
