Yup would think if delivery is Sep, it would right on the cusp, ie. last last of the '22 or the first of the '23? You might be right, I have 3 cars on order and it's pretty random the updates and lot is unfortunately not up to the customers or the dealers in terms of timing.
Yesterday I attendee a "Ferrari esperianza" event featuring the Roma. The event was held at a testing center near Paris (the facilities used by manufacturers and administration for development and homologation activities) and the organisation was great, with different situations to test the cars (including a run on the speed ring with impressive banking). To be honest I did not expect much from the Roma, which I considered a rather bland car - but I have to admit it's a very well executed package, and I understand how it could be a compelling proposition as an everyday car.
Just pulled the trigger on a new Roma... It will be a great DD next to my 812 and 488 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
Heading up to my local dealer this week to review my spec and hopefully get an order placed on a new Roma. Quick question, are your local dealers charging over MSRP? I was told by my dealer that I am looking at 12-15 months for delivery. Thank you in advance.
Hi all - my Roma is off the truck this AM at dealer in Chicago! Delivery in a couple of weeks post prep, correction, ppf, ceramic, and light window tint. Wait was about 15 months so aligned with what people here have seen. Paying MSRP. Lost my mind a bit on carbon, buy YOLO.
I am new to Ferrari, but looking at used ones online they seem to have a $30k-$70k markup. I was quoted msrp for new order, but with 12-15 months of wait.
That's correct... want it now? Buy used and pay more! or wait a year or more for a new one that will now be the old model once it gets delivered. This is the way.
I am curious how much luck people are having with negotiating the markups on the used ones. I am not trying to get it for msrp, but I wonder if a $10k-$15k markup is possible on a car that is currently marked up by $30k.
That is exactly the way it was for me. I am taking delivery on Monday but paid over MSRP for a Roma with 1300 miles on it. I have been on the waiting list for 6 months and have not had much movement up the waiting list in our market. But I sold a Portofino last December for more than I paid for it as well so it balances out somewhat especially considering I have no guarantee what the MSRP will be when a new one was finally delivered. Sounds like they are having shipping issues as well so who knows how long it could take. Not much discount off of asking. Some opportunity may exist in discounted CPO program though.
Took delivery of my DD Roma yesterday after 11 months wait. Looking forward to daily commutes and long drives at the weekend. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fiorano with cuoio seats and lower part of door and black upper door and dash. Same red piping as yours. Congrats on your color scheme.
Yes I beleive it is Ferro as well. I picked Grigio Silverstone but now noticed the Canna Di Fucile color which looks similar but maybe a bit more shine to it which looks great. Hoping once the ceramic coating is on the Silverstone that it has even more shine
I am building a Roma in atelier NYC on Monday- My plan is/was a green - I like the one from that GTS. It says everywhere online it is abetone - but searching abetone (famous F40 or a 488) it looks completely different. Someone said it may be Blenheim ... Anyone has any idea with verde? If I dont have the courage for verde I will do a grigio Image Unavailable, Please Login
This verde could be a good choice, it's dark, so you can only tell it's green in certain lighting. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/9b584838-2a37-4624-bee8-c4ce3668b3c2/
