I believe that the Roma will be made as a hardtop convertible as my FL dealership said that they aren't taking orders on the Portofino M any longer since it will likely be replaced by a Roma Spider.

Didn’t we already hear that the plan is to keep Roma weight down by offering soft top convertible instead?

Oh that's possible. I assumed hardtop convertible but it could be a soft top. The new SL from Benz switched to a soft top for weight and space efficiency.

My understanding is that the Roma soft top would be available alongside an updated Roma M hardtop. I'm thinking Marcel Massini would know.

Is the updated Roma getting hybridized?

I hope not. If so, fingers crossed I get one before the change over. I would cancel and look for something else.

I honestly don't know, but that would be my assumption.

Does anyone know a way to shift the Apple CarPlay screen to one of the left or right displays on the main display? The manual seems to say it can be adjusted in the Infotainment/Audio settings, but there isn’t anything applicable there. For what it’s worth, I completely agree that the display should be on the center console screen instead. Maybe a future software update?

When I was at Ferrari of Palm Beach last month, I was told by my SA that the Roma as we currently know it will be coming to the end of its production run in 24 months. I was told that the next iteration of the Roma will be a more aggressive model, but was unable to get any further clarification of what that meant.

If it is a hybrid, I would have to think hard about ordering it.

If it is fully electric, I would have absolutely zero interest.

That's my understanding. I have no problem with it being a hybrid. The 296 is a hybrid, the SF90 is a hybrid, the future is now.

Just received a similar confirmation from my dealership in FL. No more orders for F8, 296 Berlinetta, Portofino M, or Roma. The factory has enough Romas' to build for the next couple years and its replacement will be a new model with a different name that is a hybrid of the Portofino and Roma. Who knows too if it will remain an 8 cylinder ICE or some derivative of the 296 motor. Mine arrives in a couple weeks as it's at the port in Newark.

So it's not just a break for a few months? This is the end of production for the Roma? I am new to Ferrari, is this a typical timeline?

Four year run is not unusual but not necessarily typical either. It's the end of production.

Yes, I guess what I am forgetting is that there will still be a MY 2023. I was thinking it's only been 3 years.
