So looks like it needs to be an early start if what Justin says about the traffic is right - 2 hours to do what? 3 miles!!! ouch!

Those going on Sunday, how about trying to get there for about 09.30, or is that waaay to early zzzzzzz.

Me and Steve F are practically sat on the A1, so our best route down would be A1, M18 and hit the M1 just below Sheffield... unless you have any other plans Steve? (and what's the white beast may I ask?)

    Tony,

I guess we'll have to meet up fairly early. Where do you think would be a good rendezvous point.

with rick "out of the frame", i would imagine the buxton/matlock option is a 'no go'.
I could meet you chaps on the southbound side of the M1 at Woodall Services ???
Woodall is just below the M1/M18 intersection, between juncts. 30 and 31.
    cheers for now, d

I am going up to this on Sunday. If you want to meet up on the way junction 14 of M1 is good for me or you can drive off there and its 10 mins to where I am, and I know a good strip (which is currently unadopted - know what I mean) that we can meet up on and blast up and down waiting for others to hook up. I'll bring some boxing gloves for you to use against Steve F but I fear that you are going to have to eat a lot of pies to meet the weight limit of Steve F.

Sounds reasonable. It's just a case of what time we want to try and get there.

Steve, if you want to you're welcome to blag a lift with me in the Griff, unless you're taking passengers. (presuming I still have it).
