Ferrari is putting up for sale 5 F1 cars, one each for the years 2000-2004, mostly RB cars, I believe two are MS cars. I do not know the price, probably in the $1 million range.

Can anyone here give me a low interest loan?

I'd love to have an F2004 with just an all red livery, no sponsors. Any info on where the auction will be held and by whom?

Credit unions usually have good rates on car loans ...

I think I'd rather have one from the 1968-1980 era, especially 1969-1971.

Whoever will buy these, I bet any money they will change the livery to make the RB cars into MS cars. Just what happened to all the Irvine cars. Sad.

As far as owning one of these: I'd actually prefer one from the late eighties: After the turbos and before the computer age. Those are the (relatively speaking) simplest cars to maintain and give you some safety (over e.g. the sixties/seventies cars). Also because they fall into an era where Ferrari sucked, you probably pay less of a premium compared to a title winning MS car.

The Clienti Corse program still rubs me the wrong way (not that I had the money if it didn't): You pay for everything, but don't really own the car. You're more like its sugar daddy paying for its living. A car from before the computer age you can at least have maintained by your local racing shop, put on a trailer and take it to your local track whenever you feel like it.

None of the cars was listed in the NADA Guide or Kelly Blue Book, so they would only give me a loan to buy the 1/18 versions.
