    Well, as an update.....
    Many of you know that my car had developed a "skip" as I drove it to Tutto in Brookline.

    While there, I spoke with Steve Olford, formaly of FoNE and asked him about the service department at AMNE. (I purchassed my car from FoNE and Steve has always been my trusted advisor.) He assured me that they have the ability to service our cars and suggested that I visit during the open house.

    Long story short..... I had my (sick) car delivered to AMNE on a flat bed on Sat. I later visited during the open house and was very impressed with what I saw. AMNE has some very serious Ferrari's in for service.

    Yeasterday I heard form Steve with the diagnosis. Plugs, Wires, Extenders, a couple of gaskets and a fluids change is in order.

    Ill post back with the final results.

    Also had our 83 QV in his hands at AMNE... always great to deal with Steve :)

    I have to say that I had some trepidations about having my car serviced any place other than FoNE. My car has always been maintained by them and they have always treated me and my car very well. (Nick and Dave are excellent mechanics.)

    Because of the earned confidence I have in Steve Olford and my recent visit to AMNE, I thought I would give them a try.

    The end result was fast diagnosis, accurate estimate and completion of the needed repairs without any challenges.

    The invoice was fair and appropriate (I'm guessing far less than what it would have cost elsewhere), my car was washed and vacuumed and I was able to chat with the mechanic that completed the repairs. (I learned that he is especially competent in diagnosing electrical gremlins.)

    I'm sure they have the expertise to properly maintain my car and would recommend them going forward.
