Ferrari SF90 Coming Out of Lamborghini Factory

Benchmarking of other brands has long been a common practice. It's hard to imagine Ferrari isn't doing the exact same thing with a variety of models from other manufacturer's. I agree though...seeing an SF90 rolling out of Lamborghini feels a bit strange. I suppose it's a bit like Lions fans watching Stafford walk into Rams headquarters...

 

I worked a bit for Peugeot 20 years ago. We were being sent all the new cars from the competitors, the same that we would send them all our new cars. It's just common practice. There was a database where you could click on any vehicle and go deep into the details. How it was built, the type of batteries, sometimes some comments on whether we thought this solution was good or bad... There was even a Murcielago in the database, albeit this one never got taken to pieces so it was probably just a rental that they had to return.
