No choice other than the GPF for a DI engine. If it sounds good inside and there is no fake sound (i.e. from the speakers), it is fair to call it pure.
LOL. Someone please tell me that was lost in translation. "We have purer vibrations!" It's like saying the hotter gas noises inside your body are purer than the ones that come out your ass...
Car 'feel' is often subjective; what is 'harsh' to one 'is too soft' for others. What sounds amazing to one seems horrible to another. The talk of sound and feel goes beyond DB level and NVH meters, so the premise is nebulous from the start and dwells in the qualitative. Have you driven many Ferrari of different epochs? It should be apparent what he meant if so.
one would need a pedantic fascination with nuance to access the charms of the SF90 compared to the honest uncomplicated appeal of say a 2009 Scuderia. There is a greater price paid for progress than mere dollars; especially when that new experience is tarnished by unyielding compromise. Those happy with one choice will not embrace the folly that the other car represents. This can be said for each of the V8 cars...
Watch out, you´re opening a can of worms there. Back in the day the Scuderia was for sissies because it had no stick even as an option.
Well said. Re-reading the quote, I think the engineer means 'sound' when he uses the word vibrations. What is sound after all in the engineering parlance? Sound = Vibrations that propagate as an acoustic wave. That said, if he really means 'vibrations" I'm so glad you brought up the Scud, as those who've experienced it know exactly what you mean. Cheers

This is so spot on. And thank you for bringing up the Scud, one of the all time epic drives and certainly the most thrilling and visceral experience I have ever had in a modern F-Car. When the valves open and you get that second level of insanity... there’s nothing else like it. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The front nose/duck beak/platypus bill is really prominent when it is painted a different colour to the body of the car. What were the in-house designers thinking.

Can anyone else notice how the first renderings show a much wider car compared to the configurator? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
