Ferrari Sightings

Yesterday afternoon at about 3:15, on my way back from Charlotte on NC 49 between Mt. Pleasant and Richfield, saw a blue Ferrari heading in the opposite direction. Think it was a 328 but I didn't get a good enough look at it to tell. Anyone on here want to claim it?

 

The charlotte auto fair took place this weekend and there were a few f cars cruising downtown trying to promote it. May have been them?

 

Red California around 4:30 pm Thursday coming out of residential street in Ballantine heading south on 521

 

Saw a video of them driving around in uptown, but no McLarens were in the video. Wouldn't surprise me to learn there was a connection between it and the car show though. Wish I got to see it in person.

 

I caught a quick glimpse of a grey Mondial top down on Six Forks Rd around 11 am here in Raleigh.

 

Beauuuutiful blue Maserati Gran Turismo getting off of I-85N on Pelham Rd today in Greenville. I believe this gentleman also owns a red 458 locally.

-Black Rolls Royce Ghost across the street from Trader Joe's at Metropolitan at around 10:00. Daily driver, seen it every time I've driven past there.
-Black Bentley Turbo R Sedan exiting onto I-277 right outside uptown at 11:30.

Saturday, Sept 20th:

-Silver Lotus Evora on South Blvd right near the East Blvd intersection at (I think) around 4:00.
-Black Bentley Continental GTC on Woodlawn Rd driving through the Selwyn Ave intersection at about 5:45. It's for sale at Metrolina Auto Group, 2007 model.
-Black Bentley Continental Flying Spur across the street from the Myers Park Country Club at about 5:50.
-White Bentley Continental GTC V8 at the Palm Restaurant in SouthPark at about 6:15. It's a 2014 model.
-Blueish silver Aston Martin DB9 Volante driving past Phillips Place Plaza on Fairview Rd at about 6:20.
-Black Maserati GranCabrio on Virginia plates pulled in behind the Continental GTC V8 at the Palm around 6:30.
-Silver 2005 Ferrari F430 drove past Phillips Place at about 6:40 (pic attached).
-Silver Maserati GranCabrio MC and black Maserati GranCabrio at the SouthPark Mall at 6:54. White Ferrari California pulled in and turned around while the Maserati's were there (pic attached).
-Black Bentley Continental GTC V8 S pulled into the mall a few minutes later. I believe it was a 2014 model.
-Red Lotus Esprit drove through the Fairview Rd/Sharon Rd intersection at 7:18.

Sunday:

Orange Lamborghini Aventador at the Fairview Rd/Sharon Rd intersection at about 7:15 (pic attached).
Black (presumably) Maserati GranCabrio on front of Panera Bread on Providence Rd at around 7:50.
Black Maserati GranTurismo and black Bentley Continental GT Speed at the Hickory Tavern at about 11:30 that night.

Spotted a red Ferrari 458 at 131 Main in Ballantyne this evening.

Earlier in Raleigh, I saw a Black Maserati GranTurismo on Western Blvd.

Lol. Don't we all....hardly a day goes by without at least one or two exotic car spottings. The weekends can definitely be insane, I saw a ton of stuff, and didn't even check most of the other nearby plazas.

 

Just saw a silver california going through downtown davidson, sounded great!

 

Saw a blue Aston Martin on Kildaire Farm Rd in front of Trader Joe's of Cary this afternoon at about 3:45. Think it was a V8 Vantage (as I've seen a blue V8 Vantage in Cary before) but it might have been a Vanquish. Tried to chase it but hit too many red lights. Then, at about 4:45, saw a red Ferrari F430 Spider driving past the Whole Foods plaza. Couldn't react in time to get any pics.

Red California passed me on I-40 about 10 miles before I got to Wilmington, around 3:45. It was cool driving behind a Ferrari on the interstate!

Earlier today, at around 12:15, saw a black Maserati GranCabrio at Whole Foods Cary. Had it's top down which was pretty cool.

 

Saw two Lotus Esprit V8's parked next to each other at a yacht club right near the drawbridge going into Wrightsville Beach at about 11:00.

 

Saw what I'm guessing is Woody's new F12 at Mercedes, Cary today a little after noon. Stunning car in the flesh! 1st one I've seen on the road.

 

Maybe getting the Mrs. a little something new?

 

It must be...I think I heard him accelerating out of the dealership...and I was in NORTH RALEIGH at the time!

 

Ferrari 430 Spider on Ederlee Dr in Cary

 

Saw a very nice 430 coupe headed toward the the Greenville / Spartanburg area on I-85 today. He had a group of cars right around him. I assume taking pictures.

Cary, NC - 5:10PM, red 355GTB on NC55 headed north.

 

Hmmm - hope that wasn't mine (midnight blue) since I was out of town. Was a teenager driving it????

 

I'm not! I see some of the same cars every now and then, especially if I know where they work/dine frequently, but I'd rather see something every day than nothing!

Didn't get a good look at the driver, but I kind of doubt it was yours. The color on the one I saw was BRIGHT blue...if you're familiar with what Aston calls "Flugplatz Blue," it was just a shade darker than that. Gorgeous car though, wish I could catch it and get some pics.
