Ferrari Sightings

No pics, sorry! It was down in the Raleigh Beer Garden area headed in the direction of downtown Raleigh. She sounded good!

 

Gorgeous looking yellow 360 in Ballantyne Commons East Shopping Center this afternoon. Seen this one around the Ballantyne area several times now, but I've never seen it mentioned on here before. Anyone on F-Chat know it?

Also spotted a red second generation Viper yesterday in the Ballantyne Village. Appeared to have lots of mods, looked mean! Was a nice surprise to see it parked next to me when I walked out into the parking lot!

White Audi R8 V10 on Rea Road Saturday. Seen this one around once or twice before. Looked sharp.

 

No I think it's the same one I saw in Charlotte last year. I'm pretty sure he was at the vet for a legitimate reason, as one of the vets walked out to his car to tell him something and he went inside. I only heard it at idle, but it sounded really, really good.

Black Aston Martin Rapide heading north on US in front of UNC Charlotte a few seconds later.

Saturday, August 1st, in Charlotte:

Grey Aston Martin V8 Vantage blasted past me on Fairview Rd. A few minutes later, randomly stumbled upon the same car parked at the Marathon on Fairview Rd at about 6:15.
Blacked out Audi R8 in the Southpark Mall valet at 6:25.
Black Nissan GT-R behind the Palm Restaurant in Phillips Place at about 7:00.
Black Ferrari 458 Italia with red accents in general parking outside of Belk at the Southpark Mall at 8:10. Picture attached.
White Lamborghini Gallardo Bicolore, flat white Rolls-Royce Ghost, black Audi R8, and black Bentley Continental GT at the Palm together at 9:15.

Tuesday, August 4th, in Charlotte:

Black Tesla Roadster at Whole Foods in Southpark at 3:30.
Also, kind of off topic, but...Panthers CB Charles Tillman was at Whole Foods right before the Tesla pulled in. Really cool guy. Don't think I've ever seen anybody buy that many groceries at one time before.

Plus the Vanquish mentioned on Sunday and a bunch of other Bentleys, Maseratis, and Rolls-Royces sprinkled in on Saturday and Tuesday.

Pretty active day spotting cars yesterday:

-Light Blue Aston Martin DB9 Volante in the Peninsula in Cornelius.
-Black Aston Martin Vantage on Jetton Road in Cornelius.
-Champagne Aston Martin Vanquish in Phillips Place plaza near SouthPark.
-3 Audi R8 V10 Spiders. A white one on Brawley School Road near Mooresville, another white one on Community House Road, and a third dark blue colored one at the SouthPark Mall valet.
-Red Ferrari 458 Speciale at 131 Main.
-Black Fisker Karma at the SouthPark Mall Valet.
-2 Lamborghini Huracans. Both on W Catawba Avenue near I-77. One was lime green the other was orange.
-White Lamborghini Gallardo Spider on Jetton Road.
-Silver/gray Lotus Esprit on Jetton Road.
-Maroon SRT Viper on W Catawba Avenue.
-Plus several Bentleys and Maseratis around Charlotte.

Great pics! Did you notice if the Vanquish had a SC plate? If so I think it might have been the same one I saw last week in Hickory.

Monday, August 10th, in Cary:

Black Nissan GT-R on Dillard Dr at Walnut St (near Crossroads Plaza). Must work in the area, seen him around that intersection a couple of times now.

Good morning here in Charlotte. Just on my way to my shop this morning I saw two CAFE members out and about. One in his Phantom Drophead and another in his F355 Berlinetta.

 

yesterday saw that tangerine Lambo on Six Forks and Durant...was a quick glance from a distance but I thought it might be a Hurrican. Had a laugh when I saw my wife in her 430 about two minutes later on Six Forks and Strickland

 

Thanks! I wasn't able to tell. It was heading out of Phillips Place when I saw it.

 

Two Ferrari sightings tonight:

A bluish green 360 at the Palm Restaurant in Phillips Place. I've never seen a 360 in this color before. It looked really good! Also saw a red California on Fairview Road near SouthPark Mall.

I can pretty much confirm that the tangerine Lambo a few people here have spotted recently is a Huracan. A couple friends have sent me pictures of a tangerine Huracan driving around Raleigh.

 

Nice 360 today on Marvin rd near firethorne I don't know the owner but his son is dating my daughter.

 

Apex (NC) in Beaver Creek @ 7:55pm, yellow Gallardo with top-up. Sounded good cruising by!

Wonder what that yellow strip is for. Looks kind of strange in my opinion...don't think any of the Macs I've seen had that.

 

May be its a "Rookie Stripe"

 

I saw this one in Cornelius a month or so ago! Wasn't able to get any pictures of it though. Nice catch.

Saturday, Aug 15th, in Charlotte:

Think I saw a black Nissan GT-R in front of the Palm. It was pretty late when I drove through there though, and a Lexus was in front of it so I couldn't get a good view.

Tuesday, Aug 18th, in Charlotte:

White Bentley Continental GTC V8 in Ballantyne Commons East plaza at 1:00. It was leaving the plaza when I was pulling out of the gas station there.
White Audi R8 with a silver panel turning onto Johnson Rd southbound off of 485 about five minutes later.

Saturday, Aug 22nd, in Cary:

Grey Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R in front of Omiya Sports Automotive at 5:15. Pulled in to take a look at it because R32s were never sold in America, and happened to get to speak with the owner, who told me he just imported it about three weeks ago and also has a yellow Acura NSX.

 

Gold heat tape stuff, looks like it has a aftermarket exhaust. Probably trying to keep the paint from burning.
