    Niiiiiiiiice.

I know it's the hatchback of an SUV in the background, but that 430 looks like it has a NASCAR roof hatch on it.

I'm sure you meant to say Heard a 348ts then saw it 5 mins later.
That car sounds exactly as a Ferrari should.

Blue/white GT40 (new) on Alexander at Miami Blvd (Durham) Tuesday afternoon. Silver Carrera GT (wonder if it still has the four-cam?) same place a week earlier (talking about the ORIGINAL Carrera GT!)

I did not see, but friends did, a yellow 355 GTS in front of Porters Resteraunt on Hillsborough St. either Thursday or Friday at lunch time. Also saw a red Maser Grand Sport sitting in front of Bogarts on Glenwood South last night at around midnight and a white or silver Grand Sport yesterday afternoon at around 4:30.

There are two more down there (non-CAFE, I think). Both are owned by folks who work at BofA.

    512TR or straight TR?

Not positive, but I'm pretty sure it was a straight TR. Gentleman with grey hair driving it.

I went down to Charleston this weekend. On the way down, saw a car carrier with a 911 GT3, two M3s, a few boxsters, and an SL500 on I-95. Happened to come up behind a TR with a loud exhaust when I was passing through Summerville, I automatically assumed that it was Charles and pulled behind him. I called Charles and low and behold it wasn't him, he was up in Greensboro leaving Sport Auto. We came to the conclusion that it was probably Karl's old car. Got a pic of it though right before it pulled into a plaza.

When I read Testarossa and Charleston I also immediately thought Charles. I wonder what he was doing at Sport Auto. Maybe looking for another toy?

I didn't ask. We just talked about VIR and the charity event in Columbia. He could have been on business and just stopped by, who knows. I'm sure he'll see this at some point and let us know. I'm just glad I didn't pull up next to it and start waving.

By the way, who ever was driving it, seemed to be a really nice guy. He was waving at some kids at a stop light and giving it a little gas for their enjoyment. I always like to see people sharing their toys, it makes everyone smile.
