Think I saw a blacked-out Audi R8 on US 401 heading south at Ten-Ten Rd today in Raleigh at 12:30. I was sitting at the light and heard something howl through the intersection. Glanced over to see what it was once it passed all the northbound traffic....thought it might have been a McLaren but the upshifts were too slow to be coming from a DCT.
Brand new white Acura NSX parked on North St right near Glenwood Ave at about 8:45 in Raleigh last night.
There's something you don't see every day. Not positive, but I think it's an Aero Supersport. On Friday (11/4), saw a grey Porsche 997 GT3 leaving the Whole Foods plaza in Cary as I was turning in at about 5:00. Then, about 20 minutes later, a bright yellow Porsche 996 GT3 pulled into Whole Foods right as I was getting into my car (only the second or third 996 GT3 I've seen in the wild). Talked with the owner for a couple minutes...nice guy, new to the area. Then on Saturday (11/5), saw a yellow Porsche Cayman GT4 at Dean & Deluca in the Southpark area of Charlotte at like 1:00. Don't see many yellow Porsches around, let alone GT ones.
Yesterday, (Monday, 7th) - electric blue Murcie Roadster heading north on South Blvd. Believe it was the one at Cars & Coffee Saturday.

Red Porsche 914 last night at Carmel/Fairview. Then a dark blue Lotus Elise at exact same intersection this morning, plus a CAFE member in her red 458 Italia on Randolph as well.
Seen a few interesting cars around lately..... Friday, Dec 2nd, in Charlotte: White Audi R8 V10 (2014 refresh) on HREs at the Selwyn Ave Pub at about 12:40. Black Audi R8 at Sharon and Fairview at about 2:00. Red Audi R8 V10 Spyder with a SC plate at the Diamonds Direct building across from Southpark Mall a couple minutes later. Also in that same lot was a black BMW Z8, which was the first Z8 sighting for me in over two years. Saturday, Dec 3rd, in Charlotte: Dark purple McLaren 570S heading north on Monroe Rd at about 10:40 before turning onto Conference Dr. It had been at C&C that morning. Silver Audi R8 Spyder with a black hood on Runnymeade between Selwyn and Colony. Also had been at C&C that morning. Monday, Dec 5th, in Charlotte: Black Audi R8 (2014 refresh) near Target at Blakeney in Ballantyne at 1:50. Orange 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus at the Palm Restaurant at 3:00. Weird time to see something like that parked there, but hey, first new R8 I've seen outside of dealerships and shows! Light blue Jaguar E-Type V12 Coupe at Park Road Shopping Center at a little after 4:00. Blue Lotus Elise leaving the Park Road Shopping Center a minute or two later. Possibly the same one Grigio 308 saw in Southpark. Wednesday, Dec 7th, in Charlotte: Gorgeous black Aston Martin Rapide S heading east on Fairview at Sharon as I was filling up at one of the gas stations there at a little after 6:00. Wicked seven speed manual Corvette Z06 in yellow with black wheels next to the gas station as well. Friday, Dec 9th, in Cary: Mark's McLaren 650S Spider at the same plaza (next to Harris Teeter) I saw it parked at a couple weeks ago. Plus some Bentleys, Maseratis, other Aston Martins, and Porsches within the past week and a half as well.
Very rare (1 of 150) Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale on southwest NC 49 at Roberta Rd in Harrisburg on Thursday night at about 8:00. Turned onto NC 49 a couple miles before that from some road in the middle of nowhere, so I slowed down a bit and it caught up to me in Harrisburg. Had a dealer plate, so I believe it was from Lamborghini Carolinas, as they have one for sale right now. Then on Sunday morning at about 11:30, saw a beautiful Lotus Evora in white with black wheels and accents at the Shell gas station next to Trader Joe's on Mallard Creek Church Rd in Charlotte. Pulled in and talked with the very nice owners for a couple minutes. I definitely want an Evora now I also saw a couple GT-Rs and a Mercedes-Maybach today.

Black Audi R8 near LA Fitness Club in Ballantyne, Charlotte this afternoon. Have to admit, it looks fantastic in all-black.
Hey,there's one in my garage! But,I had another motive to post that,actually two..one to get that hedges thing away from the header..I don't want to read anything else about that jerk..and two,see if I could get to seventeen hundred on the first real day of seventeen ..the first day is not a real day,but the second one is..but my count is off. Despite all the salt, I have seen a few interesting cars out this year. Saw a grey R8 with a black blade last night in Cary at Lifetime Fitness at 6:45. I think it was the one I saw about two weeks ago. Then I happened to pull up behind a dark Bentley or Rolls ('90s sedan) on Tryon Rd in between Walnut St and Yates Mill Pond Rd at a little after 7:00. And today in Cary, saw a white GT-R leaving the Whole Foods plaza as I was pulling in at a little after noon.
Last Thursday (1/19), saw a black Audi R8 with a bronze-colored panel heading west on US 64 in Cary right near US 1 at about 4:45. Not sure if it was a V10, as I didn't get a great look at it, but it looked pretty sweet in that spec. Monday (1/23), saw a black Aston Martin Vantage Roadster at Birkdale in Huntersville at about 2:00. I think I have seen it around before. Also saw a black Maserati GranTurismo on NC 73 turning onto the road across from Birkdale as I was leaving a minute or so later. Tuesday (1/24), saw a grey Audi R8 V10 heading south on NC 49 in Mount Pleasant, strangely enough also at 4:45.
Black on black 458 coupe valet parked at the Ritz Carlton this last Friday night in Uptown Charlotte. Saw the same car (one would assume) at C&C the next morning.
