    Those look pretty nice!

My boots could definately use an upgrade (but they ARE already red, more by accident than any link to Fcars)

Please tell me why Ferrari is selling ski boots? I think they went a little overboard with this merchandise stuff haha.

    Yes.

I find that you really have to try on ski boots to see how they fit before purchase.

+1 and you also will want to use a good boot fitter to customize the foot bed and fit for you. Buying ski boots over the internet just doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

I have some Lange ski boots that are at least 7 seasons old and probably are due for replacement. The boot fitter spent a couple of hours on them when I bought them and they are so comfortable that I am hesitant to replace them.

These Ferrari boots actually don't look bad and, if the only Ferrari logo is on the cuff strap, no one would ever see it anyway. Which may or may not be a good thing to anyone who buys Ferrari logo clothing.

With a flex rating of 120, those Ferrari Langes are pretty stiff boots. Not racing boot stiff but pretty stiff and not for the cocktail skier.

I wonder why they chose Lange, isn't Lange an American company ?

I'm sure they were a lot more expensive earlier. Whats up w the FERRARI up where it will never be read & a tiny horsey on a clamp ?

    I prefer Nordicas anyways

ski boot brands need to be tried. lange makes a narrow fit boot, so be sure to try them before purchase.

I love the ad copy that says.... "The Fluid 120's Custom Air Concept liner sports Alacantara fiber which is the same fiber Porsche uses on their car seats..."

Its a Ferrari boot but what really makes it sweet is the Porsche car seat material.

    sheesh

I like my Technica Dragon 120's. Never really liked the Lange boots. My Technica's are stiff but its more like a sport steering stiff than the Lange "I feel like I am driving a rock." fit

Langes used to be notoriously narrow. Anyone know about the fit, width wise?

Lange was originally from Iowa, but is now owned by Dynastar-Lange-Rossignol, so it's actually French.

Jennie and I just got new ski boots this year. Not sure how true, but we were told the advancements just last couple years ski boots don't need the same custom foot bed fitting. You still need a good to tech to make sure you get the right flex and width for your skiing and also correct length. The explanation was all the new nice boots have heat activated properties that conform to your feat as you go.

Not sure if the reason, but my new boots I have to start a little loose and instead of tightening during the day like old boots, I actually leave the same or even back them off a little as they conform to my foot.

That would be good news as new skis are on the agenda for next season and the boots are due for replacement as well.

My old Langes are so comfortable and I have listened to too many horror stories about fitting problems even for people who supposedly have gone to good boot fitters.

New boots are inevitable so I will take the plunge, just maybe not with those. Are they returnable or is this "final sale only"?

Go someplace reputable. A good salesman will know what fits YOUR foot. Some boots have narrow lasts, some wider. A better fitting boot is worth the money. Don't buy boots on sale unless you really know how they should fit. Expect to pay around $400 if you buy them on sale. I pay that much and I get a pro discount. I was (am still but not practicing) a PSIA instructor for many years. Too many people have boots that are too big because they are more comfortable... but much like a car with a soft suspension and loose steering... they are a beotch to drive well and will get you into trouble because they wont go where you want them to when you want them to. Buying them online is a big big no-no unless you have already tried the same boot on in a store.

If you want to ski well your boots should fit well. Snug but not tight. Firm but not hard. Yes, I am talking about boots... :)
