I understand but a pic of a crashed car could help to better know its history. In the case of 0238/A, we can see the Vignale body was not so damaged. Car only rolled...
So may be we should not post pics with an injured pilot only...

We are not discussing an injured driver, Sundberg was killed on the spot.

    Hello all,

this could be a very interesting thread...
But how should it work? I thing the best "structure" is a thread for each year and
then treads for each single race...So we have all informations for a race in 1 thread and
can discuss the race not only the same day but also months or years later, when new
    informations came to light...

Btw: For the Agadir races I have:
    1953: 15. Februar
    1954: 27-28. Februar

    best wishes,
    BjörnS

    Hi Björn,
    Thanks for your interest.
It’s true I should have done a thread for each year but I have TONS of period pics still to classify only for 1953 and I have no time to work on the following years.
This is why I prefer working by chronology, talking about Agadir on 15 February (thank you for confirming the date), then Sebring on 8 March and so on...
The good new is that I have pics for almost all the cars in all races ! Only a few are missing ! You will see : worth the wait a few months ! ;)

Not the whole story. Was expecting that if you make a claim of 3 months you would share some idea to back it up, but never mind

I just asked the mods to delete this photo, totally wrong to post that, never mind if a tabloid showed it decades ago. People should use common sense and decency.

Dear Thimothy, I really appreciate your interest in this thread but could you wait the anniversary date of a race ?
As I said, Agadir was on 15 February. That means we should talk about this race only tomorrow, and Sebring only on 8 March 2023, and so on, if not, this thread will became a real mess...
At the end of the year, I will make an index of all the races in this thread (referring to post #) to make it more clear.
Another thing : please, wait that I post the small photo galleries that I have prepared for each race if not, our posts will systematically duplicate each other.
    Thank you for your understanding.;)

Surprised to hear about this car here in Brazil. Is there any more info you can share? Was the car here since period? Understand if you can't share more, just curious something this cool is right in my backyard (feel free to PM if that's better...)

    Thanks!

A few additions to Agadir race on 15 February 1953.

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

There were not one race but three different races :

    Class A : 0 to 1000 cc
    No Ferrari

    Class B : 1001 cc to 2000 cc
Vignale 166 MM/53 s/n 244M #15 raced by François Picard. Result : DNF but best lap

    Image Unavailable, Please Login
Winner was Simca Gordini T15 S Coupé #11 raced by André Guelfi

    Class C : 2001 cc and up
    Vignale Cabriolet 212 Inter s/n 0209EL #10
Pinin Farina Berlinetta 250 MM s/n 0236MM #14 raced by Pierre Pagnibon. Result : 2nd
    Vignale Coupe 225 S s/n 0152EL #16
    Vignale Coupe 225 S s/n 0164ED #18 raced by Jean Lucas. Result : 4th

    Image Unavailable, Please Login
Winner was Simca Gordini T15 S Spyder #12 raced by André Guelfi (him again !)

You will notice 0152EL was here with #16. 0209EL is just in the background with #10.
The question is : which one was raced by this guy called "Yakoubson" who finished 7th and who was the driver of the second Vignale Ferrari (probably DNF) ?
