    Hello,
I didn't want to say that the car is S/N 0237EU...
But it has some interesting body configuration/details
I did not seen before on other cars.
Does anyone have pics of S/N 0266M from 1953-1957?
    best wshes,
    BjörnS

Ok, but the front/grill and the sides with possible portholes
are not visible in this photo...
Will look at my archive at home if I have some pics of Sartori's
    entered car in 1954...

    best wishes,
    BjörnS

Thanks Björn ! I have searched too without success but the Trieste-Opicina’s pic is good enough to see this car is neither 0244M nor 0237EU...

WOAW ! Beautiful picture ! I wasn't sure if Ammendola already raced 0250MM in spring 1954. Many thanks !

As posted here before the guy that "runs" that "research company" has been responsible for massive financial losses at the Florence Concours (2010-2013) where quite a number of renowned international collectors lost a ton of money (they had been forced to make downpayments, then the event was cancelled last minute and the money never returned).
Please be super careful. This is a warning. I have enough experience with these people. Plus they basically copy and paste history reports and photos from various sources and then try to sell the stuff for massive amounts to the owners of the cars.

0250 MM was raced in six Italian races from March 1954 until 11 July 1954 (pic in post #1481, VIII Coppa d'Oro delle Dolomiti 11 July 1954, Ammendola placed 4th). Ammendola was President of Racing Club 19, based in Torino, but he never owned 0250 MM.

I love the safety barrier in the background. A different time. LOTS of fun if you, a loved one, or family member didn't get killed or seriously injured. I guess it was so soon after WW2 that people accepted that risk. In any case, a great photo, not just because of the car, but because it conveys so much atmosphere/ambiance.

I found another pic of Salvatore Amendola and 0250 MM at Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti.

See also this video for a view of the winner : Sergio Mantovani and his Maserati A6GS #94 but also the second overall, Giulio Cabianca and his O.S.C.A. MT4 1.500 #90 :

Many thanks John ! 1955 and subsequent years should be interesting too when I see the number of pictures I have accumulated over many years ! :)

I love the photos of the Targa Florio. People lying on a rug having a picnic right next to the road. Sometimes a radio for listening to the progress of the race. Mum, dad, the kids, some uncle and aunts, grand parents etc. A real family outing. Then in some village people at tables and chairs having lunch, again right next to the road with 250LMs, or a big block Chaparral blasting past.

A rally type event run in the mountains region, not many professional photographers would bother to go there as very few publications would need a photo for their eventual short report.

You must be right, unfortunately for us...
BTW, one of the most beautiful book I have about mountains is the « Stella Alpina » one. Not many Ferrari pics but other brands with so wonderful landscapes !
I add another rare pic of 0250MM at Dolomiti. I don’t know where these pics come from.

I didn’t notice I had this pic of our mysterious Vignale coupe at 1957 Mille Miglia. Note the typical chrome surround.
Phil Hill is painting the number 519 on the trunk of the car ! :D:D:D:D:D:D

I was joking due to the previous discussions in this thread giving this car sold new to Phil Hill... Very strange for a car still raced in Italy in 1957...

Still, Jack Brabham worked on his own cars overnight before a GP. Apparently he was a very good mechanic, as well as 3 times world champion. Again, a different time.
