    Hi all,

I'm looking for storage for three of my cars, there is three underground spaces available where I live, they are in their own bank with concrete pillars at the end of each side and electricity so all seems good.

The only I ssue I see is that they are all on a slant so not flat ( the spaces are in between levels of the underground parking.

Can anyone see this being an issue ? These cars will be driven on a weekly / two weekly basis.

    Tks

As long as you wedge the wheels in case you forget to park in gear and the handbrake releases, you will be absolutely fine!

    What angle is the slope?

Depending on the direction and extent of the "slant," just remember to be extra careful when handling open doors that may be susceptible to gravity and slam into your adjacent car.

It's a slant of say 90 ft that goes from one level to the next, my cars will be near the top, the spaces are quite big ones so doors should be ok

Just remember to glance at the fuel gauge before pulling into the garage. A 'full' tank while parked on a slope can leave you stranded half a mile out on a flat road...

Been there. Done that. Embarrassed as heck when I did.

I would also alternate the way you park the car so it isn't always slanted the same direction.

I'm wondering if you could jack up one side of the car and put some 2 X 4 under the wheels.
    Then check for level.
I would only store my Ferrari perfectly level. Any other car....well who really gives a ****.
I wonder what Ferrari owners in San Francisco do.
Do you guys actually drive and park on a hill? Won't that harm a Ferrari? What do you do driving up Powell Street.....call a wrecker for help?
I'm now very worried and I'm headed to my garage with a level.

I would hope you have checked the underground space for moisture concerns.

True. Whether the garage is above ground or below ground, rain water can travel down the underside of a structure for long distances and drip on a vehicle. These water drops often contain minerals picked up from the structure during their travel, and if dried on a car, can be very difficult to remove. This from personal experience.
