    Wow, I've just realised, I am a massive lurker!

    Thought I'd better reply to this as I wrote the article in question.

    Annoyingly the date is a big giveaway but it was good fun getting it all planned, drawn and written. You'd buy one though, wouldn't you? ;)

    Haha, that is a good April Fools! Even the Maserati SUV the Kahuna? Or something along those lines fell through way back in 2003. They're not bothering with an SUV. At least i'm not sure now, it's been five years...and they mentioned that if Ferrari wanted one, it'd only come out through Maserati...but i'm not sure where they stand now!

    This merely an April fool, I wrote the article in association with www.LussoLuxury.com as they wanted a 'luxury' related April fools joke. The only remotely serious part of the whole thing was the fact we had a car designer come up with the sketch but even he knew it was a joke.

    ALso,
    - 799 would of had an 8 litre, where this was a 7 litre = 699
    - Has cupholders
    - but your comment to the Grand Canyon model was right on
