Can we see some pictures please? :)

I could actually do with a valuation for insurance purposes too (definitely not for sale though!), so interested to hear of any ideas as to how.

I would recommend putting the insurance as high as you can. Think about replacement cost to determine. How much money do you need to go buy the exact same car right now if yours is totaled. That’s the number you need. And I mean without having to shop for a deal. Just boom here’s the money give me the car. I’ve got insurance on my 512tr at 375k, I wanted 450k but they won’t go that high. Last silver 512tr like mine that sold for 430k a month ago. So that’s where I need to be. Pretty simple formula.

You will be looking at circa £125K - £140k. for guaranteed value of your TR, but depends on condition including mechanical and any required recommissioning / service / belts etc. Best speaking to a specialist dealer and comparing cars for sale/sold, as guaranteed value can be vastly different to actual ‘Market value’

Looking at DVLA your car shows 22,379 miles on its last MOT back in 2019 and only a few hundred miles each year before hand.

My LHD 1986 Euro TR very early dual mirror has just been valued at £95k GBP, probably add at least a further £5k+ now as it’s having a full blown major+suspension rebuild+rads+alternator+AC rebuild etc etc. to make her near perfect.
