Most sets that sell at or above market value on bat are the mediocre ones.
The best ones tend to sell below market or require those "very special interventions" aka the "back door reserve" to prop them up.

But, if you have such faith in bat, you're welcome to buy it and serve it on bat.
With its best of the best condition and your extensive expertise and clout there, the sky's the limit.

    :)

Beautiful. I would make an offer, but you're starting point approximates 10% of the cost of a low mileage Testarossa.

Nothing to lose. Worst case, you get more useful info, whether you buy this or another set.

As with everything, the delta between excellent and the very best, 90% and 99%, is not linear.

That said, the best is not always the best choice. If you intend to use it, the lining on this will flake off as well.
Reason it's not damaged is because it was never used and the cardboard inserts were removed when new.
You can see what happens when the cardboard is not removed on the new one you were bidding on.

Other things to watch for is the oxidation of the hardware and leather discoloration and deformation, which would indicate higher than ideal humidity levels during storage.

Overall, the experience of a NOS set is incomparable. Your TR away from your TR.
The leather aroma is different, the texture and color are different, the contours are different. Everything is perfectly defined, like a well detailed car.

Albeit, not shiny. Which on black sets, particularly, is readily noticeable. Note the texture and very low oxidation (no green stuff) of the hardware in the close up pics.

If interested feel free to pm me, no obligation etc.

If you're referring to the instructions for the Cagiva combo locks, the green pamphlet is included.
