"FERRARI"--the book Published by Enzo himself 1974.

This was never for sale and only given as a special gift from Enzo-- It's his personal memoirs/bibliography and it includes 260 pages 100's of pictures from his baby pics to the mid 70's. Pics never before seen of him with Movie stars (Dean martin Sammy Davis, Jayne Mansfield, Peter Lowery, Alessandro Onassis, Jimmy Stewart, ZaZa Gabor, Pat Boone, Tony Curtis--etc) Racing greats--and pics of him racing 1927, Not to mention all the specs from the real source.

This book is only published in Italian and I am possibly going to get it translated (for my personal use) as some of the rare history of Enzo is hidden in the many story pages. How about a green GTO in the Sahara?? A Arab soldier with a machine gun aiming from the hood of a 275 GTB--or a Lusso pulling a trailer.

The format is 9x13" in size with hardbound Cloth red cover--with only "FERRARI" embossed on the cover. It weighs about 5 lbs--Below just a sample of the many pages.
I have never seen another one but someone told me Phil Hill was gifted one many years ago?
This book was sent to me by Enzo in 1976 for a special event I had done, in his honor.

Please feel free to send me any info you have about this special book-- What's it worth??

The picture of the Lusso right above the green GTO is particularly interesting. You can just make out in the caption to the left of the photo the words "Sabino" and "Tucson". I believe that this is Sabino Canyon, which is about a mile away from where I live in Tucson, AZ. Sabino Canyon is a recreational area which is open only to foot traffic today, and is very popular with hikers. However, it does have some roads that clearly were used at one time, but have long since been blocked off to public vehicles. If anyone can supply a transcription (even in Italian) of the caption on that one I'd be interested.

    Thanks in advance...
