This thing looks interesting, but a few questions:
1) How does it mount? Does it require drilling into the body?
2) Can it actually hold a license plate, or purely decorational?

Hello: thank you for your response. Some US states require front & rear plates . What state are you in? If you do not have a front bracket you can attach it right into the body by self drilling screws that we can provide. The installation is very easy.
We also have available an European version 20" x 4.5" that comes with self adhesive 3M strong backing tape. if you car front is flat then we can provide the same tape so you will not need to drill any holes. My email is [email protected] just in case you need more information.
