Clamoroso: la McLaren tratta per i motori della Ferrari - Gazzetta di Parma
Just like rival corporations do with great success sometime, maybe the 2 teams could merge? Exxon-Mobil ? Royal Dutch-Shell ? Mercedes-Benz ? Ferrari-McLaren ? Why not ? LOL
True, but then it will be good to gloat to the McLaren Sports Car fans that Ferrari is indeed better than McLaren.
Only engine it shows. In my opinion in f1 it's far better since both are the top on both team's to want to succeed (look how much they spend on it and effort it is clear that f1 to both is way more important than the road car business). I definitely think in terms of actual performance ferrari is way better than McLaren has been by far. So yeah that basically means I agree.
And while both have great road cars I definitely think they want championships and ok road cars than having great road cars but no championships at all. The championships create a kind of respect and recognition that road cars while can create a reputation they nowhere as much as racing can create.
+1 Anyone seen any serious advertising by Ferrari recently? F1=Ferrari to a very large percentage of people on the planet.
I really wish this year they could take both titles, but it's going to be extremely hard. If it does come to that they're better off using whatever stuff used on that car to evolve into the 2018 car it's an extremely good base which I hope they can mate with an extremely more powerful powerplant. I dislike them having to danger limitions rather having car that can take on Mercedes and beat them though out the season. As I was saying while the Mclaren f1 is one of the best road cars it is a symbol of Mclaren road cars. I really think the mp4/4 definitely overshadows that car and while it it has racing pedigree the f1 car many pepole don't it know it did which shows that Formula 1 does overshadow it by a larger magin that and the drivers who drove it like Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. IMO the brand of Ferrari is more associated to it's more successful racing cars rather than its road cars the F40 is a legend and has racing history also is an execption. It's also the last car over seen by Enzo Ferrari that in itself makes it truly special IMO. The 250 GTO is the most expensive, but one of the most expensive cars in the world no doubt it is cause of its racing history. It's like mclaren f1 to be hoenst. The most reputation has gotta to be the Michael Schumacher with Ferrari I mean cmon he inspired more Germans to F1 than any other driver. He also raised Ferrari fame to the level it is today. Lets not included the team and cars performance in recent history after the 2008 regs. The f2002 and f2004 is symbolic of what Ferrari should be absolute unmatched performance and the best driver to have ever seen in f1 drive the cars. I definitely think that trumps the recognition of any of the roadcars though that is nearly matched by Ferrari's other great racing cars that dominate gotten titles or won races in events like Le Mans. I think both want their f1 Programs to be winners and while their road cars are desirable (especially any Ferrari). I think both would rather have wins and titles famous to their name(especially for Ferrari) in F1 and any racing event involving their cars like Lemans.
