    hello.

there has been some interesting debate on f-chat recently about the supply/demand for ferrari's f430 and f599. owners and admirer's alike have chimed in on "market price"

i'm from the MTV generation (X, i believe) i recall $144K new testarossa's being flipped for $250K. first on the ground F40's fetching $1.5 million. what caused the ferrari bubble to burst in late 1991? and what can we apply to today's supply/demand with my favourite marquee... ferrari?

    kind regards.

It was a bubble, kind of like muscle cars right now.

What you can apply is this: if you want a Ferrari of the 308/328/348/TR generation, you can buy one in a market where the only people you're bidding against are people who are buying the car to drive or show.
