Seems like a fair question to me. I suspect every potential owner or even dreamer would like to know the answer--if there is one.

It was actually intended as a reminder that his posting history is easily searchable, here and on the net.

When a low-post count user comes on asking a semi-controversial question (one where there's no solid answer, is mostly dependent on personal preferences and has been asked dozens of times before), I sometimes wonder if the guy is asking for real or just bored.

If you spend 5 minutes to do a little research, you find that he was on here in 2006 looking to buy a 308/328/348. In 2007, he feels the high-end sports cars are too expensive (nothing wrong with that) in the cited post. In 2009, he's posting about lack of work opportunities (nothing wrong with that either). Then, yesterday, he comes back on here, declaring he's interested in a 360 Spider-vs-430 Scuderia or a 360 CS-vs-430 Scuderia (in a couple of years, maybe) or a 360/430-vs-Gallardo. None of these questions are necessarily exceptional, and I want to emphasize that there's nothing wrong with his change of interests or personal situation, but taken together it does sound more like he's bored than that he's serious.

With your experience I'd like someone to loan you a Smart so you can determine which car has more female attracting power.

Well... if he's ever in Scotland, I'll have a word with my better half and see if she can spare it for a day. ;)

    All the best,

Why not split the difference and downscale to the point where you can buy one of each...not that hard... $150K/2 = $75K per car. You could buy one of each (+ or -) and end up not being a self indulgent weiner, but an enthusiast.... Nick Cage!!! :)

    Rock on.

Well I'm not going to start trying to guess why, but all I know is that I've seen waaaaay too many pictures recently of lambos on fire..........so that only reinforces my vote to get a Ferrari!

but i do agree with basically everyone else here, this is pointless. 1)because this has been asked too many times and 2) because it is a predictable answer when you post it on f-chat

i don't think you should decide on which car to get based on the amount of attention it gets from others. if you're going to spend the money on cars like these, or any car for the matter, it is much more important that you choose the car that gets YOUR attention and the one you may build a certain connection with over the years of your ownership

Drive both and decide. And not in rush- as time goes by, I can save and invest.
