Hoping the weather clears out and allows you all a great event. Definitely looking forward to more photos, and very curious to know if anyone spots Jay Leno in the crowd? >8^) ER
The photographer Jerry Wyszatycki will be shooting cars before the event for Cavallino web site. If anyone wants a particular detail shot , PM me, or you can email him [email protected] . Hes agreed to get shots that can be used for references in research or restorations, and he agreed to do a few shots if requested by our group which I will post. The weather has cleared here in Alps after a day of hard rain so driving ''La vecchia bestia'' should be fun today and pasta tonight ! You have a 48 hr window for this reference request. Saw #0305 at Strada e Corsa in Holland in 2012, stunning car, amazing work. The weather was great in Como when I had dinner there the night before the MM start in Brescia which was sunny and hot as well, hope it clears for you, 28 degrees and sunny here in Stockholm MS PS: Please push Jerry W in the lake for me (without his cameras);-) He did my first Cavallino article photoshoots 22 years ago, good guy.
He didn't specify that bit! His caption read something like "Only at Villa d'Este can you arrive in a 250 GTO and leave it unattended while you check in..."
Thanks Marcel. Is it still wearing the nose that classiche gave it or has it since been tweaked? I know there was some debate as to its accuracy. Either way a beauty and hopefully being enjoyed regularly.
It's not a pretty nose. Makes me think of a GTO that would have been homologated to pass EU pedestrian safety laws.
We have posted our first pictures as well. Enjoy ! *link removed by moderator* Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
