Dunno. It's a well known car racing on both coasts. This is from the same stable. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Lowell, I suppose you're referring to the Nylock (nylon washer in nut) nuts atop the shift gate in Mr. Niles' photo. If so, Yes. My friend has one of the sister 206 SP's and it's exactly the same. Best, Dave
Dave, Thanks. I was confused with the dates when the Dino's were made. My book says that the 196S was made in 1958. I had thought that the 206 Sp was made about that time. But in looking it up, the 206 was built in 1965. My 1966 330GT has Nylock nuts, so I know that they existed then, but I thought they they did not exist in 1958 --- but maybe they did.

Hi Lowell, I'm guessing your book is referring to 206 S #0740 (1958), separate and distinct from the run of 206 SP's which as you stated were 1965 (circa). The nylocks pictured are on a 206 SP rather of 1965-1966. Beyond that, there were a great many one-offs and runs given the name to honor Ferrari's son Alfredo who died young. Here are quite a few but this is by no means inclusive. Dino.Summary There are certainly others. Best, Dave
