Hi Christian, They are pieces of lead wound around the spoke for balance. The wheel is way out of balance with so many weights.

Loosely translated: Body Number 6 (denotes two-seat__roadster__NO rollup windows) Lefthand drive and then the sequential serial number 942 (series began with 501, Abingdon's phone number!). See nomenclature plate below. In terms of Austin-Healeys, this is an early example of a limited run of 100/6 two-seaters. Not a Ferrari, but seeing the previously posted picture of the 100/M airbox pushed me over the edge. In my previous post I made a futile attempt at redemption, holding the Scaglietti badge in my hand Image Unavailable, Please Login

this not very shiny paint looks like what a lot of the period photos of old Ferrari racing cars look to have had. I love it. Thanks for sharing. Tom W

Etienne, it seems that the French section is not enough for you. before your remarks against me, i prefer going out this Thread, now you can recuperate it easy
be coool , Christian...I'm not sure it's necessary to answer you...but it seems to me that Ferrarichat is open for all. I'm just a Fchatter, which pays his subscription. Nothing more, nothing less. When i post here or over there, is not for you in particular, but for all the Fchatters. If it's a problem for you, no matter...
