Any thoughts on this especially from people who have owned both. I am thinking about a used (b/c I can't order a new one) 458 or a new 12C or possibly the 650S. I know Ferrari maintenance is included for 7 yrs which is great. Both dealerships are about the same distance, about 150 miles from my home. Any thoughts?

If you can afford a 650s, you can afford a new 458. MSRP is like 320K. You can get a well equipped new 458 spider for that.

I think you should just buy what you like and not worry about this issue. It's like asking if you should marry a blonde or a brunette because one may be a better cook. Maintenance costs are insignificant in the final tally. The 458's maintenance program saves you about $1200/ year. Not a biggie on a car costing you 300 grand.
