    Hi everyone!
New to the board. Thanks for all the information. I am looking for a 360 Modena and took one for a test drive yesterday. Absolutely amazing! THe details about the car:

2000 Titanio Grigio/Bordeaux 5500 miles Manual Transmission (Shields, Calipers, Rear Challenge, CD changer, Daytona Seats); 2 year service complete. Front and Rear bumper sprayed, Replaced Ring Gears and Main Seal.

Interesting thing is, it comes with a One Year Ferrari Warranty. Its not bumper to bumper, but covers most of the big items.

Dealer wants 135 000, which is a bit much IMO, but how does the warranty factor in? In other words, whats it worth?

Thanks much everyone. Hope to meet some of you at some events soon.

    Rick

I did some research when I purchased my 2000 360 modena. At that time, the aftermarket warranties for 24 months ran about $10k so probably worth in the ballpark of $5k if you have a claims that is approved and gets paid (read the find print). It depends also upon how many miles you plan on driving.

If you do a search on fchat re: extended warranties, you will find various perspectives from people who have had both good and bad experiences with them. Also do a search on 2000 360 - there are many threads in the MODERN section outlining common issues to look out for when purchasing a 2000 model year.

BTW, if this thread gets moved, you can find it in the MODERN section.

If you get the Power Cube Ferrari Warranty it'll cost you about $7,500 by the time you add the required belt change servicing.

Wow, didn't know that the warranty was worth that much. I will have to take that into account when pricing the vehicles. The 360 I am looking at only has a one year warranty which is an actual Ferrari "sponsored" warranty. Does this mean its not the "power cube" warranty?

    Thanks again.

Dammit...now I am thinking of red/tan again. The Titanium/Bordeaux was stunning, but...
