    ......in gymnastics??

15-year-old Vanessa Ferrari of Italy won the overall title today at the World Gymnastics Championships in Denmark, the first Italian female to ever do so.

I doubt if she's related at all to Enzo or Piero. She's from Brescia; is that close enough to Modena or Maranello to make it possible?

(I know this is really off-topic, but I couldn't resist!)

Who knows mate? Maybe Enzo or Piero have sowed their wild oats in Brescia once before. :D So they 'could' be related. :p

The F1 engineers have been jumping through a bunch of hoops this season, to make the car competitive.
    Is that "gymnastics", too? ;)

Enzo had a reputation for sowing a lot of oats in his younger days. Take rumors for what they're worth.

But "Ferrari" isn't all that rare a name, among people. Google for it, and you'll find Ferraris all over the world in every field from politics to proctology.

Ferrari is a pretty common name in the north of Italy... it literally means -
( one who shapes Iron ).... like in horse shoes... or a Smith.... Ferrous like iron/metal.....quite appropriate when you think about it!
