FERRARICHAT.COM 2006 POSTER

There has been some talk over in Collectibles that we should do a NEW FerrariChat.com poster.

I'll be happy to once again take on this enterprise, with ONE SMALL CHANGE IN APPROACH.

The 1st poster was a good effort, but I didn't quite get the result I was hoping for. I gave all the proceeds to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) research, but only ended up with about $500 total. Last year's poster shown below.

I'd like to change this year's effort as follows:

1. Limit poster to 50 cars.
2. Cars to be limited to FERRARI ONLY, must be OWNED by the person submitting the photo.
3. $25 per person minimum donation to put your car on the poster. If we get more than 50 people, I'll expand the poster size appropriately. Those 50 folks get a poster as part of the donation.
4. Final poster to be 24 x 36 on heavy paper stock. This time I might use matt finish instead of gloss, but we'll talk about that as we go.
5. ALL PROCEEDS THIS YEAR GO TO THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION. http://www.alz.org/overview.asp ("Proceeds" is the gross #, I'm not going to take any costs out of the project.)
6. Posters will also be made available to FerrariChat.com members for $12.50 each, which will include shipping by mail within the United States. All foreign orders will cost more.

I'm have set up a paypal account for the same email address, PAYPAL ONLY ON THIS, NO CHECKS, CASH, MONEY ORDERS or OTHER MISC. FORMS OF PAYMENT PLEASE.

So, pix and money to [email protected]. If we don't get to 50, and the project doesn't get off the ground, then I'll refund everyone's money. If I get the 50 we need, then I'll take care of the rest, post what it's gonna look like, and we'll go from there.

Have a few nice cars so far.

A 250GTO, and a 308, and a 348, and a Testarossa (slutmobile and regular) and a couple more. (Sorry, to those other submissions that I'm missing) Oh, did I mention a 333SP?

Now, belly up to the bar boys, and send some more pix!!!

We've raised some good money and I'd like to get a bunch more folks involved.

Last time took about 60 days to get all the pictures put together and about another two weeks to get the poster printed and shipped.

I think the date, and the benficiary on the poster are great ideas, along of course, with the FerrariChat.com logo.

As I get enough pictures to get rolling, I'll post some preliminary poster images.

Paypal is really the simples way to go.

Hey, I know. I'll set up a new item on Fchat stuff today. THere you can use VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, Discover, whatever you want except cash or check.

C'MON GUYS!!!

How many opportunities come along like this?? Your car, on a limited edition poster, with ALL THE PROCEEDS GOING TO A VERY WORTHY CHARITY. Tax Deductible Too!!! Claim it as a cash contribution. (Minus of course, the retail value of what you get as a part of the deal.)

I need about another 20 people to make this thing work, otherwise, I'll have to cancel this project, and that would be very unfortunate.

Lemme sweeten the pot...

Hmm..... How about an Fchat TEE tossed in to each $25 or more contributor.
