I was definitely planning to be at Sebring in April; but now, who knows?
I'm anxious to see how the schedule unfolds.

Still have high hopes for an awesome series!

I am absolutely certain that a serious series, well run by serious people who know racing (not track days, very different), with clear and well thought out rules, a great administrator who communicates clearly with teams and drivers, a strong steward, and attractive dates and venues, will draw a lot of cars. If the FCRA starts that series, I'll be there with my '09 430C. Convince me. If not, I'd love to join in starting such a series.

    Team is Competizione Racing.

    Touche.

Great photo of your car, by the way, the red white & green really pops on the silver.

True. However, here's an opportunity to start from the grass roots, take the best of what's working elsewhere, and build something enviable. A start-up series doesn't have the in-grained politics of something that's been around for years or decades. And, sadly, the way the FCRA is shaping up gives us pause. We'll see how it turns out. That said, I'd LOVE to see this turn into something wonderful.

    Gentlemen:

Well I will take that criticism on the chin I guess.

I apologize for the delay in getting information out. The schedule has been difficult. The original concept for the schedule was to incorporate and support traditional Ferrari track events already popular with our members. The FCA is apparently being run by two vocal board members who completely objected to our series. We also attempted to coordinate with another track organization, but due to greed over money, and a refusal to commit, we failed to reach an agreement. I'm pleased to say we are finally passed that now.

We have an amazing calendar which includes events at Daytona, Sebring, a Grand Am support race at NJMS, Watkins Glenn, Homestead, and finishing up at a new 5.5 mile F1 style state of the art racetrack in New Orleans. The final race will see the reintroduction of the French Quarter Classic.

On Monday the final dates of the schedule will be announced. Final sponsors have been contracted with, and sponsorship packages will go out to the 68 driver/owners signed up for the series. We are funded, well insured, organized and ready.

For those that know my background with the French Quarter Classic, I can promise you this series will deliver on the hopes of many.

This sounds really good, John. I very much want this to work out. I'm in!
