I just discovered alexa.com. If you put in a web site name, it gives you a whole bunch of useless but interesting information.

Such as, most popular sites visited by people who visit Ferrarichat:

    Ferrari Source srd.hypermart.net
    GuiGui.com - CARS lukekowalski.tripod.com/dino.htm
    Ferrari308.com ferrari308.com
    Ferrari Technical Specifications @ Carfolio.com carfolio.com/specifications/models/?man=1951
    Barchetta barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris
    Maranello Literature, Ltd. maranello-literature.com
    Da Corsa dacorsa.net
Classic Motor Monthly Archives - Ever Fancied a Ferrari? classicmotor.co.uk/ferrari.htm
    Cavallino.CC - The Red Cars Channel cavallino.cc
Cars from Italy - Ferrari carsfromitaly.com/ferrari

It is also linked to (by at least) 162 sites, and on average is slower than 71% of all sites (though this averages the past). We also "reach" 25 people out of every million daily internet users.

Below is a daily graph showing how popular FerrariChat is day by day as a rank of the most popular web site on the internet. Seems to be about as random as the stock market.

Take alexa for face value, but it means nothing more than a bunch of numbers. In the internet industry, we discount alexa about 50%.

I agree. It has certain biases and to their credit they identify it on their web site. However, it does lead to some interesting results.

For example, I looked up Formula1.com and got the following graph. By looking at nothing but this graph, one can tell exactly when the off season is, when race weekends are, and which F1 races are the most popular, or at least controversial. So obviously the graphing has some degree of validity. Ferrarichat.com inversely shows the dips to be on the weekends.
