The issue I have with tapatalk is getting thrown out of the app if I accidentally brush a hyperlink.

 

Have the new Droid 2.2 4G works great.

 

Page updates seem to be running slow on the iphone, sometimes up to 12 hrs. Has anyone else noticed this?

 

I just realized that the latest tapatalk update now uploads images using IMG tags which doesn't appear as an image on Fchat. Any way around this?

 

It just provides the image as a link, but its no hard time clicking to see a photo. I guess it would be nice to have it pop right up but it doesn't bother me. I can still see photos posted in other threads as a photo, and when I post using taptalk mine come up without a link, but pc is different.

There used to be, if I look at all my attachments the most recent ones will say uploaded by tapatalk. But they just updated the app and the new version replaced the upload option with a link within img tags. Kinda bummed about that update.

Any chance of IMG tags being enabled? It really sucks not being able to post pictures from my iPhone.

Depends. I loved the first version that allowed you to upload pictures directly into the message. Now the pictures are uploaded to the tapatalk servers and are linked with IMG tags, fchat doesn't support IMG tags
I still use it though, pages tend to load faster.

 

I use it only to link photos to posts.

 

So supposedly Tapatalk should again be able to upload pictures directly to FChat.

Has anyone been able to get this to work, and am I the only one that has trouble?

I've been having issues with this on my iPhone. Apparently the tapatalk developers had a lot of angry customers when they did away with direct image uploading.

Are we able to upload images directly to Fchat yet?

 

When I first got Tapatalk on my Droid you could. But they changed the way it works
later - to the current "tag only" upload where you just see a link. I don't know why
they changed it - it seemed to work just fine before.

So at least for now, the only way I know to do a photo properly is go to the browser
and post or edit from there to put up a photo.

Anyone know why they changed this? Was it a Tapatalk change? Or an F-Chat change?

The latest update to the tapatalk app has an option to upload a photo directly to the forum, but for some reason you can't select it on Fchat. I guess Rob was saying that he has to update the tapatalk software on the forum. Once this feature is functional on Fchat I'll be happy as can be.

There's a thread on the tapatalk support forums that says image uploading only works for android. It should work on the next iPhone update which has already been submitted to the app store.

 

Rob, according to the tapatalk message boards the app should now fully support direct image uploads. Is there any kind of update that needs to be done on the Fchat side to get this functioning?

 

+1, if you could enable this it would be perfect. I just got the app on my iPad and other than not being able to upload pix, it's great.
