Hmmm, with all of the chaos that has occured in my neck of the woods I had forgotten about ordering this item. Just for kicks, is there any way you can track the package and tell me how far it got to New Orleans? I would be interested in knowing...

I see Duane on a pretty regular basis at Euro Sunday here in SoCal - couple of months ago we were chatting about F-cars and I ask him if he'd like to try my 348 so we went for a bit of a drive. Imagine my surprise when I got a PM and he'd made a mock-up of a T-shirt with a photo of my car he'd taken and offered to do a one-off for me.

Very classy move and I am very grateful - I love my shirts.

Thanks again Duane and I hope your run in my 348 has pulled you closer to your F-car purchase and "the brotherhood".

I was going to give you a hard time for not adding the NW section but decided to look once more just in case. Good thing I did 'cause I hate the taste of shoe leather!! I ordered two! Look forward to trying them out!

I wore my shirt on Saturday for our monthly breakfast event in San Antonio and a new 360 Spider owner asked me about FChat and said he would have to check it out. He isn't the first person to comment on my shirt either.

Great way to drive traffic to FChat.

I am actually driving back to New Orleans tomorrow to grab stuff this weekend before I roll back to Texas. Planning on returning for good in January.

I am curious as to whether or not I will have stacks and stacks of mail. Apparently UPS has been delivering to my 70130(warehouse dist.) zipcode for over a week.

What part were you located in?

 

English Turn, zip 70131. Home mail delivery started last Thursday although it appears to be current mail, not the items that have backed up. I will be back Tuesday next week for a few days, we will see what that brings.

English Turn? I am out there all of the time! I am a member and play golf there. According to the website it seems that all is reasonably well in the community given the circumstances. Hope you didn't suffer anything major. I was supposed to go back to N.O. to grab some things today, but got delayed until tomorrow.

Maybe I can convince you to pickup a set of sticks and join me on the course sometime down the road?

 

That won't be that hard to do...... schedule is crazy of course. Club is open, had lunch there Thursday. Home had roof damage and rain water intrusion, will take several months to get back into shape.

Sorry to hear about the damage. But luckily it doesn't sound nearly as bad as others received. I went back to my place today and it was eerily NICE. But, you could sense that much was in need.

Amazingly though the bar across the street(Dino's) was open and serving food and drink! Went in, got a Corona, ordered a burger, and enjoyed it with my cousin, mother, and father.

I know this will take much time and effort for most things to return, but they will, and with a fierceness!

I'll be back in for good come January. Hopefully I get to meet you this year at the FQC. I was there last year, but somehow didn't get an introduction.
