I'll be filming and photographing that event!

Novitec makes beautiful stuff. There is a red 360 in town with aerodynamic parts. Just plain gorgeous.

I have a 360 Novitec Twinner Spider and very very happy with the car and the performance. I sell their product in Canada and it is great. The company is reponsive and customer service is very good as well. I drive my car very hard and even race motorbikes for entertainment as they freak out when I catch them. I have nothing but good things to say about Novitec Rosso.

I think they suck! Bottom line. They are users and don't hold up to there agreements. Of course you will say otherwise, you peddle their products. Why would you cut your own throat and tell us all the truth?

I bet your car is a six speed too isn't it?

Glad they haven't ripped you off....yet.

    Be aware buyers, stay away!

Even if Novitec is a bad company do not get them confused with CEC which I have heard nothing but good things about.

I sell Novitec Products to my customers with confidence. They all become my friends and I would not sell the the products if I did not believe in it. There product is amazing and of excellent quality. I truly believe that you have other issues with the car and not Novitec.

I was at the race track yesterday with my Ferrari/Lambo customers and my Enzo as well. I am a true Ferrarist and also have an F40. I love driving the 360 Spider twin supercharger from Novitec. I can blow the doors of all the cars that were at the track including the Murcielago, F430 etc.

Sorry about your issues but my customers and I are very satisfied with Novitec out here in Canada. I have 5 360 Novitec cars in my city already and they are all very happy as I am.

Bottom line, I think they suck, and I want everyone to know it. They make arrangements, then don't follow thru. My negative feellings will only be negative publicity for them and their company as long as I am around the Ferrari world. They had their choice, they decided to allow me to continue to feel this was.
Stay away potential NO GO TEC buyers, they suck! Don't butcher a car that was not made to serve other puroposes. If Ferrari wanted their cars to have 600 hp, don't you think they would send them to us that way?

No offense to you, Good luck with your cars and customers.

This statement alone shows how ignorant you are on the subject. I'm not claiming Novitec Rosso is a good or bad company, but you do not understand the concept of modifying cars obviously.

You don't know me, and can't come up with something smart to say so you resort to that?

Let me lower myself to your level. I'll even put it in Canadian for ya... Kiss my ass...ehhh!

LOL! Good luck sir, you have your opinions, I have mine. I just hope mine cause you and NO GO TEC a lot of business in the future.

    Have a good day!

    Ok, here's the story.

Friend of mine decides to let NO GO TEC butcher his brand new 2004 spider, no big deal to me, this guys a player, has more money than he can spend. Anyway, me the nice guy I am, agree to let Novitec do all of this in my personal garage, using my facilities and lifts. I'm no dealer, no car dog, not in the business, just a friend to the guy who owns the spider. Remember it's San Antonio, 100 plus outside and I give them a nice place to work on their new project, because the local dealer won't touch the deal nor will anyone else. My buddy gives me some Spurs tickets for this and that's more than I asked for. ( I have season tickets already) Anyway, time goes on, nothing but problems with the car, car comes back 2,3,4,5,6 times, nothing but problems. Sad part was I didn't care about the car, and still don't. I'm not mad about the car or its performance. Also keep in mind all of this is taking place in my personal garage with me taking on all of the liabilites etc.

Second to last time they were here, they took the liberty of robbing parts off of one of my personal 360 so they could fix there spider project car in time to go back to Germany. T this point they are taking stabs in the dark as to what is wrong with the car. This is the good part, they robbed parts off of my car and left it in peices for me to have a mechanic put it back together at my expense. LOL, I couldn't beleive it.

The last time they were here, they find that the Cats are bad on the Novitec spider, well, low and behold, again they take it upon themselves to take liberty with my facility and go thru my spare parts room that I have. I mean who was a room full of Ferrari parts? Do you? Well I do and they have their way with whatever they wanted, without asking first or at all. In my parts they find a spare set of new cats out of my spares for my 360 Challnege car. They decide that they will use these cats on the spider project agreeing to purchase them from me for what i was asking for them. They install the cats, along with who knows whatelse the took from my stuff. Come time to leave...they don't say bye, screw you, or much less "Here is the money for the parts". Now once the boss (Wolfgang) shows up, they decide that I wanted too much for the cats now, and they will send me some Euro cats from Germany when they can get around to it, I call Bullsh#t on the deal, and tell them I want what we agreed on, thats the part where they leave without resolving the issue.
I say something on F chat about it, and immediatly the German mafia is pissed. Now I say something on here and the Canadian Mountees have their feathers ruffled...is this not funny because I think it is.

I'm the one who got ripped off, I was nice to them, and that's how they trated me. What can I say, they know what I wanted for the parts, they agreed to pay, put them on, then changed their minds after the fact. Would you go to Ferrari needing a part, they let you have it, agree to a price, you install it, then don't pay...what would Ferrari do? What would you do? Call your local Ferrari Store, ask them what a set of Cats sells for, then you'll get an idea of the money we're talking here, not to mention all of the other things they have done already. By the way, those guys can drink Red Bull and sodas like it's free, oh that's right I paid for all of it...LOL!

Bottom line, I have no beef with my Canadian friend, my beef is with Novitec and their poor business ethic. If someone wants to side with them without knowing the story, then that might tell you something about their ethics as well.

Go ahead spend a couple $1000 with them, see how they treat you, after all my friend spent about $100,000 and this is how they treated he and I.

So you decide here, you let someone make themselves at home in your private garage, they rob parts off of your cars, leave them in peices for you to put back together after the leave, then next time they steal from you...what would you think of them?

PS... Come to find out after the fact, this was the first US spider that they had ever done, and the only f1, they were in such a hurry to make their money, they somehow neglected to mention that to us when they did all of the work to the spider and voiding any warrenty that the brand new car had.

Nope - just a guy looking for rims. For someone who claims "you don't know me" you seem to be the one making inferences.

I just also happen to also think your statement "If Ferrari wanted their cars to have 600 hp, don't you think they would send them to us that way?" is absurd. You should be directing this statement to your friend that spent 100K trying this. There are many companies modifying Ferraris.

    Questions?

Nope, I think you have all of the answers...

Did you read the story? My beef with them is not about the car or it's performance. I could care less, if you need 600 hp, go for it!

    Hey Wes,

I'm trying to contact their side and get them to respond, I guess they have been talking to you offline?

Are the Euro cats the same as American cats? If not, do they have American cats available? I heard they offered you new cats plus any shipping/labor. Doesn't that get you right back to where you were before? Maybe the techs didn't know the $5,000 you were asking for them was so far above what they could source them for. Were you disappointed that you weren't cashing out of your cats and would just get replacements to go on the shelf again? An agreement is an agreement though.

Is the car finally running good today? If not, what problems still exist and how are they planning to fix it?

Did the Spider get body work too or just engine work? I would love to see pictures of it if body work.

I'm still neutral on this, just trying to get the facts out as there are always at least two stories.

Glad to hear others have had good experiences, but either way this all needs to be public.

    Thanks,
    rob

    Wes,

Now that's a bit out of line, I read your other post and I feel it's unacceptable what Novitec did to you and you have every right to be upset. But the "if Ferrari wanted their cars to have 600hp that's how they would've made them" statement is still very ignorant just because you had one bad experience doesn't mean a reliable modified car cannot be made. Just take a look at RUF, Lingenfelter, RSI, etc .

    Good luck,
    Kevin
