    Here shortly we are going to implement a new page on FerrariChat. As you know FerrariChat, the default landing page and forum will still be under Forum. There will be a link to 'Home' which will include some various content in a single launching point...
    • Ferrari News from FerrariChat, Motor1, Motorsport, and other sources.
    • Search and see Classified highlights.
    • see latest Forum threads and most active.
    • see highlighted Media uploads.
    The header and footer across FerrariChat has also been updated. This will all take a little time for users to get use to and we'll take all your feedback into consideration for revisions. We have been doing extensive testing for over a month, but users will still find a few things I'm sure.

    known bugs
    • From the 'old' style doesn't appear to be any access to the Home page.

    It used to indicate at the top of there are any new postings to watched threads that I have. That seems gone now.

    Sigh... I am getting too old for this... I know time marches on, but the changes looked geared towards young kids, rather than folks in their 40-70's that actually own ferarri's...

    Lots of pictures, harder to get to posts, keeps locking up. Tried to click on forums, nothings happens...

    Rob... why?

    how did that work before? where was it? the forum functionality should be the same, just access through the top left menu instead of menu bar.

    that forum functionality shouldn't have changed? I don't think that has anything to do with the header. How did that work before? An arrow or something next to the thread or after you go into it?

    Agreed. I used to click on a watched forum and it would take me to the jade read. Now it doesn’t. I loved the new site but this wasn’t necessary. Come on.

    the 'Old' style look just like it did before and pretty close to how the forum looked last year with old software, why not use that?

    I would log on and the upper right hand corner had my username with a number next to it indicating how many unread posts I had in my watches forums. It’s not there anymore. Also, I have to dig to get find my list of watched forums. Just go back to how it was yesterday. All was fine.

    patience please 1) the core forum hasn't changed a single bit. 2) the home page is optional, just go there if you want news. 3) if we inadvertently broke anything in the forum piece or access from menu, we will fix it ASAP.

    we aren't throwing to the Home page by default, we shouldn't be. you have to click on the Home link.

    ah, OK. if you go to rennlist you go to a similar style home page; I have rennlist.com/forums (or whatever the link is) bookmarked.

    If you click the ferrarichat logo at the top it currently goes to the news page. It should go to the forums page. Whatever. I’ll figure it out. The one thing you should change back is when you go to your watched threads it goes to last read so you don’t have to scroll down and hunt.

    I dunno. It's not consistent. Before when I clicked on a thread I had read before it took me to the last read post. Now, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

    If I click on "alerts," it takes me to the first post in the thread, like this one.

    Lol, since we are all nitpicking ;), the top nav bar desperately needs to be tweaked. The logo, font, home button and avatar are too large and have a Fisher Price vibe to them. In general everything is too "fat". I'd shrink the height down a tad and go with a more modern font.

    I know it matches the mother company but it is too heavy handed and "toy looking" for your brand.
