From what I understand there was a HUGE wreck when a 5.0 Mustang came flying down the pit straight and either lost his brakes or confused brake/gas, went flying through the grass, then t-boned another Mustang that was between turns 1-2. The 5.0 flipped and landed on it's roof. It was pretty bad, much worse than any of the other flips that weekend. I'm sure the video will surface soon.

I haven’t been out to LeMons yet, so I’m not qualified to comment, but there is a reason organizations like NASA & SCCA are so strict about track, car, and driver rules.

The Mustangs throttle got stuck wide open just as the other car was mid way through turn one. The mustang hit him braodside and drove the other car into the kitty litter and then flipped over it. It was pretty dramatic and thankfully both drivers were not seriously hurt. I think it's safe to say however, that both drivers suits were totaled.

Same reason I have no interest in driving in LeMons.
