Hello everyone. I've made a few forgettable posts here, but I feel it is time to formally introduce myself. I really enjoy this forum and just wanted to say hello. I'm not a Ferrari owner yet, but I hope to be someday. I recently moved from Los Angeles, CA to Muscle Shoals, Alabama. It's a great place here, but not too much Ferrari spotting going on! Anyway, just wanted to say "hi." If anyone has any questions about Muscle Shoals, AL, feel free to ask. I say that with sarcasm. Not much going on here....

Thanks everyone. I will be getting a 328GTS.... someday. Red over black if I can find it. But I'm not in a big hurry. Part of the dream is figuring it all out. I want to be prepaired, and make sure I can maintain it. Anyway, just want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row first.

I subscribed to the forum. Don't know if that matters to anyone, but it does to me. I look forward to being a part of Fchat and no longer just lurking.
While I'm at it, I've got a real funny pic of a pink Hello Kitty TR you guys have to see..... Kidding.

Welcome aboard - thanks for posting EARLY in your tenure - I was a lurker until
the actual day I bought my 328... seems silly now.

Ask away - take your time - and welcome to F-Chat!

Thanks Jedi, beautiful car you have. Great pics! Reminds me of the first 328 I saw back in '86. I just knew I had to have one someday. The first 328 I saw was in small town Alabama (Mayberry-like, maybe 6000 people.) There it was, a red Ferrari 328GTS. It blew my mind! It made no sense in a small southern town, parked between two pick-em-up trucks. It was amazing to see, I'll never forget it.

Thank you! I feel the same way - I've always said that if it were a given than everyone could
draw, and you asked them to draw a Ferrari, they would draw a 308/328. Better artists
of course would draw just the 328 :D

It's all the Ferrari I probably will ever want - drove her for 2 hours today and loved
    every mile, and every minute.

    Again, welcome aboard.

Lee, Muscle Shoals got it's name from the Mussels that are found in the Tennessee River. The River divides Lauderdale and Colbert counties here in AL. The river is referred to as the Shoals. "Muscle" is a mispelling of "Mussel." Thus "Muscle Shoals." Therefore I live in a mispelled town! Oh well. The town has a great music history, and was once referred to as the "Hit Recording Capital of the World." That was a while ago, back in the '60s. If you do a Google or Wikipedia search of Muscle Shoals, AL you'll get some good hits. Personally, I'm very proud that "Mustang Sally" was recorded here!!

Lee - if you take the 101N there's a "Mussel Shoals" between L.A. and Santa Barbara. It's just a spot on the map in Ventura County.

    Go figure....

Spelling it wrong in the South just adds to the rep of dumb Southerners. Unfortunately (did I spell that right??)

Mike, welcome to FC. I hope you get your 328 someday. Since you are in the Shoals area, if you make it to Tuscumbia, there is a nice park, one block from main street with a 20 ft. waterfall. I have one of my bronze statues there. It is a memorial to the Trail of Tears, the forced Indian march out to the West. Then if you are ever in B'ham, and would like a ride......I would be happy to give you one in my Euro 308.
