FerrariChat Suggestion

As a relatively new participant on this board, I've seen (and have been guilty of) posting questions which seem almost painful for the veteran members of this board. You all know what I'm talking about...searching. Searching not only the current board, but also searching the archives to see if the answers to our questions have been answered before (and again, and again, and again...)

Due to the fact that it saddens me to see enthusiasts and enthusiasts alike exchange less than helpfull comments and suggestions (e.g. "This has been answered before, try searching the archives first"), would it make sense to have a new section, or maybe a permanenent sticky thread in all existing sections titled "READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST" with helpfull information like:

Searching existing threads...
Searching the archives...
Upgrading membership...
posting pictures...
Basic rules of the road type stuff that can help the new members out and hopefully avoid some of the pointless replies that are obviously extremly frustrating for both those who are posting them as well as those reading them.

Part of the mystique of Ferrari ownership which drew me to purchasing my first car (1994 348 Spider) was all the positive information I've heard about the Ferrari community. I my self have not acquired the vast knowledge yet to be as helpful as the lot of you, but someday, I hope to be helping others with the various nuances, tips, and tricks. Until then, I'll be searching, and searching!
