Pretty sure it's 3005GT. Also, I think you meant Lukas Hueni. On a side note: 0540 would look really nice in yellow.
Not a 275 GTB/4 but a 275 GTB shortnose in Celeste. And the black 340 America Berlinetta Touring 0122 A. Marcel Massini
Yes, you can buy the 250 GTO S2 4675 GT for 50 M $. Seriously. However, pls keep in mind that right now four other GTO's are also on the market. Marcel Massini
Hello Timmy, the greedculator (speculator) crowd may have left this forum years ago like rats off a ship but we are still interested in your consolidated data and analysis of the four Paris auctions during Retromobile (Osenat joined the fray this year) which are nothing less than the Monterey of the old world. Merci in advance!
Give me a few days and will have something for you, just Ferraris or everything? My first look at the results is that RM and Bonhams did well and managed sellers expectations, Artcurial not so much.
If you can include Maseratis that would be much appreciated, thank you FYI Osenat was only Delahayes, Delages and Talbot Lagos so a very specific market...but it is the first time there are FOUR auctions during Retromobile...I will ask them about their future plans.
Actually not the first time. A Facel Vega only auction took place some years ago during the same week as well. With great success. There have been smaller French cars only auctions too. On another note, plenty of Lussos & Short Nose 275s were offered for sale on the show.

That said some of the result is due to offering just 95 lots vs 2023s 142. In and of that how much of a role does the sheer number of auctions and dealers play in limiting access to marquee lots. Back in say 2000 there was B-J with Scottsdale, RM held maybe 3 sales per year, Christies maybe 5, Poulain le Fur 3 and Brooks hosted 6-10. Now we have Gooding offering 3/4 sales per year, RM 10-12, Bonhams are now running at least 15 sales, Artcurial 3 sales, Broad Arrows 5+, not to mention Osenat, Aguttes, Mecum, Worldwide and all the others who want a slice of the action. Doubling the pie will either lead to more cars coming to market or a diluted, soggy filling. Looking towards Monterey I have little doubt RM and Gooding will have enough marquee lots to delight even the most jaded palette but even they will struggle to come up with marquee lots for ALL their sales, let alone the smaller auction houses.
Thanks Tim, much appreciated. As you say Artcurial did not have a banner year as they usually do during Retromobile. They have finally published their results, a number of the important cars such as the Cal Spyder did not sell: https://www.artcurial.com/en/sale-4404-retromobile-2024-artcurial-motorcars FYI the price difference between the two Ghiblis at Bonhams is explained by the second one needing a lot of work such as paint bubbling very badly.
