    This thread will get shut down. There are only a couple of places in this country you can even take these pictures. The igloo people in the rest of the country will be howling about how mean you guys are.

    Great pics!

    I sure with palm trees grew around here, but alas, its too cold for them to survive. Guess I'll have to settle for pines, firs, spruces, and junipers. :)

    Tangent: My GF and I took a drive from Los Angeles to Central Oregon in April 2008 on I-5 (exited at Weed to US97) and made a point of seeing how far north we saw palm trees. Redding CA, you have the furthest north palm tree we observed.
