    FULL track for 3 days!
From what I understand the track attendance will likely be 60-70 cars max. That means tons of track time!
If you haven't driven Daytona, you MUST go! This is an awesome track.

We have a big group coming down from New England, But according to the promotors of the event , there has not been the expected turn out, suprisingly not many from the florida area. Sounds like a unique opportunity to drive the famous 24hr circuit.

At Pocono and in the NE this is a huge event
In FL they have to compete w Cavallino, Palm Beach SuperCar Weekend, and lots of other events

Lots of F owners in Miami are posers although there are some die hard Tifosi here too

Another factor for the low Florida owner turnout may be that many will be attending the FCA Florida Region's annual Maranello Madness track event at Moroso the weekend before.

With work, kids activities and honey-do lists, its hard to get two weekend hall passes in a row.

At least it is for me!

For those attending Daytona, have a great (& safe) time.
And remember to post up those photos.

    Cheers.

Turnout for any tack events is rather slack. I just raced last weekend the season opener of the 2009 SARRC season. Usually there are 350+ car and this time around it was about half. Only 35 cars in Spec Miata in my class. I have raced that same race with 60 cars.
NASA cancelled their Gainsville event and PBOC their December event.

I wonder what the turnout will be for the FCA event. Bob, any info on attendance you want to share?

    Yes
    You can get information at
    www.italiancarsatdaytona.com

Daytona is an unbelievable track, definitely the best in Florida and one of the best anywhere. I drove it last year in my F355 at an Audi Club event. Only recently has Daytona been available to clubs and drivers that do not hold a race license. Everyone should take advantage of this opportunity, come to this event and drive- you will be happy you did

I checked the site for information on tickets for spectators, but didn't see anything. Can we get tickets at the track on the day of the event?

What was the response to the email choices? Cancel, short course on Friday or Sunday?

Still no dinners, lunches noted on the website. Will there be any?

Tell me about it :/ But from my understanding, Maranello Madness is just a $15 gate fee away from public attendance. I will surely be checking that out.
