I guess someone had to see us ! well done Ray, pity you couldn't make it mate. Just before we'd got to Birdlip, we'd all pulled into the Highwayman, see pics. Most of the guys had opened their cars up on the A417 - I'll let them admit to what speed they were hitting on the dip between Cirencester and Birdlip. Fair play to the owners of the highwayman - pub was shut, empty car park, once he noticed there were 21 Ferraris parked outside, pub gets opened - in we go - result :)

Sorry I missed you all, I went passed the Highwayman about 11-20am on my way home from Swindon.

Glad you had a good day out, shame I missed the 288 GTO though, not seen one on the road for a long time!!

I will be taking the 348 to work later in the summer, perhaps we can go for a drive then, at least it will show Honda what proper car looks like (LOL).

    Regards,
    Phil.

P.S. Where was Ralph, I could not see him on any of the photo`s

hilarious yesterday at Symonds Yat - Ralphs as usual last to park, so rather than parking in formation, decides to park in front of the cars sideways on:eek:, turning what was initially a traditional Ferrari concours event into a car boot sale. That was a picture worth taking!

What was even funnier were the two 'ramblers' with a camera - the husband looked at all the cars and said to the wife 'get a picture of the one with the gold wheels - must be worth a mint'.

Andy - the picture says it all - and I'd almost forgot Robs recollection of the rambler's respect for 'the gold wheeled one' - priceless

should start a new thread - how many stone chips after yesterday? Rob got pickled by Leyton's Saturn rocket
