Sunday, March 9th, 2014 - Legends Parking Lot at the corner of Carnelian and Baseline, Rancho Cucamonga 8:00 am to 10:00..or This will be our third event at our new location; the Legends restaurant and adjoining parking lot at the South/East corner of Carnelian and Baseline in Rancho Cucamonga (Address for your GPS: 8775 Baseline Rd. Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 (909) 941-9555). Due to the fact February is a very short month, March the 9th is approaching fast. Clear your calendars and be there. 8:00 a.m. to ??? I think you will be pleased. Location: Legends Parking lot at the South/East corner of Baseline and Carnelian. There is a McDonalds on the corner and Legends is just East of the McDonalds. Entering from Baseline, I would recommend using the southern most driveway on Carnelian and circling around the southern side of the business complex then north to the parking area. (See map with highlights.) Directions: From the 210 Freeway, take the CARNELIAN off-ramp SOUTH to BASELINE. According to feedback we received, this route is the best way to arrive...absent it taking you way out of your way. Taking the 10 freeway off-ramp and driving up Vineyard/Carnelian will subject you to many stop lights. From the 10 Freeway, take the VINEYARD off-ramp NORTH to BASELINE (NOTE: Vineyard turns into Carnelian after Foothill Blvd.) I have posted some maps and pix below for further guidance. Hope to see everyone there. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pix of the Legends restaurant and the southern Carnelian parking lot entrance. This is the entrance I would recommend, especially for the very low cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pix of the North/East entrance off of Baseline (even though it looks good, down the driveway is a nasty swail and should be used only by cars that have good ground clearance); finally, the parking area where we assembled in January/February. BTW: The entrance just west of the Legends off of Baseline is pretty good for all but the lowest cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Important item: The 9th of March is the beginning of DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME! Don't forget to take this into account. We spring forward one hour.
Thanks Mark for posting up! Yes this is right around the corner and the last event was a blast with some spirited octane and concluded with an awesome BBQ. This time I am thinking of a different spirited drive for everyone...details to follow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Eddie, Can you give me a rough idea of the drive route and time? Since I'm coming from an hour away (and to the east) I have to figure out if I can fit it in that day. Thanks, Henry
Henry, I will organize those who want to exercise their cars around 9:30-9:45 at the tail end of our 8 am meet. The group will then convene on the 210 west towards Sunland. We will then "travel" through some epic roads in Tujunga for about an hour and end up near La Canada...some of will then grab lunch afterwards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Henry, please come out even if you don't go on the drive. It just wouldn't be the same without your Toyota truc....I mean 355 being there. Will, How long has it been? Was Manny the last one to wash her? And remember, you can't count the Speed Ventures tape wrap-up and removal as a wash even though we did pull off a lot of road-filth when we removed that tape
I honestly can't remember.....it was probably before the Santa Barbara charity event. There is honestly no point in washing it frequently because it is covered in dust within 2-3 days. I am now contemplating whether to wash it since we're going on the Sunland run after the meet...lol
Ok, after countless text messages from Eddie trying to get me back on the road and go on the run, I have accepted his invite... but no TR... see you guys Sunday.
